We enjoyed the lake view from the screened in porch and the comfortable beds and sofa. It was a quiet cozy location far away from the road. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the natural views from the living room, dining area and kitchen due to a large number of cobwebs and debris on the outside of the windows. The dining area ceiling needs maintenance due to a large stained area and the kitchen cabinets need a thorough cleaning. Easy fixes. The bathroom was quite nice and spacious with amazing shower heads. It’s a nice two bedroom home. The host was responsive and helpful. Overall it was a nice stay and a serene location very close to base.

We really enjoyed our stay and have nothing but good things to say about the host. The house was centrally located which reduced travel time to all events. The house itself was really nice, clean and very comfortable; however, the deck was not inviting or clean. For me this prevented a 5 star. The outer deck was covered with pine cones and needles, that I cleaned up. The enclosed area had a dirty ashtray sitting on the table and vines are tearing up the screens allowing for mosquitoes to get in. The couch on the deck had a very unappealing cushion. Ultimately it was the enclosed deck overlooking the water that lured us to place but we ended up not using as much because it just wasn’t comfortable. One item of note the drive way is very hidden. I would recommend a newer brighter mailbox with number clearly visible since we drove past the driveway a couple of times.

We had an amazing stay on the lake. The house is cute, relaxing, and quiet. Check-in and out were simple.Suggestions for improvement: better marked house number on the street as the directions provided in the check-in email were not helpful at night; fix the front porch light; lighting on guest driveway.

Perfect place to stay for Fort Jackson Family Day/Graduation

My kids and I stayed here for about 5 days for my daughter’s family day and graduation from BCT. The location is great - so close to Gate 2. Easy to drive around and find all amenities we needed. The house was great for us - beds super comfy, great shower and lovely view of the lake. Thank you for having us!

Great national park visit

This was a great home base for three days in Columbia. We loved the national park, the zoo, and the state history museum. The house was just what we needed. The hosts were great and communication was excellent.

Wonderful stay

The stay was nice. Two nice bedrooms with comfortable Californian king beds. The Shower was huge, love the rainfall style shower. Very clean, my stay was at the beginning of spring so the pollen was very high and covered my car. A little landscaping around the house would make the place perfect, but I would definitely recommend and return.
