Perfect Modern Lake Front Retreat (pets allowed) is within walking distance to all Alton Bay has to offer.
This unit comes with a Boat Dock comes for your entire stay

This unit is perfect for a getaway at the lake and sleeps 4 comfortably.

This unit features an equipped Kitchenette that includes Mini-Fridge, Microwave, hot plates, toaster, drip coffee pot, toaster, pots pans, and dishes, and utensils

Air conditioning and Heating
Bluetooth Stereo
White Noise Machine (located in the bedroom)

We offer kayak and canoes during the spring and summer months.

Fire Pits: are located across the street at the Cabins at Vacanza, and are seasonal.

Pet Policy:
We must be notified in advance that you will be bringing a pet(s), and weight of your pet(s).

-Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.

-All guests will be charged a one-time flat fee of $40.00 per pet per day or a flat $200 fee for weekly stays.

-Guest agrees to clean up animal waste of the pet(s) and agrees to accept full responsibility and liability for any damage, injury, or actions arising from or caused by pet(s).

-All pets must be in crates if left unattended, and cannot cause any disturbance, to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced .

-Pet(s) cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours. They cannot be tied up outside unattended, and must be on a leash when outside.


We are located in Alton Bay, and within walking distance to restaurants, the marina, and all that the lake has to offer.

FISHING
No fishing directly off docks. We like to provide a haven for our fish friends around our docks and don’t want tackle lost on our sandy bottom.
Ice Fishing: We have direct access to the frozen lake utilizing the stairs to the beach, please use caution

Gunstock skiing and tubing is 7 minutes away
Ice fishing, fishing derbies, and the winter carnival are just steps away.

The unit was good for our short stay. My only complaint is that the stairs outside our unit to the dock were falling apart making each trip outside very dangerous Besides the crumbling concert stairs there really should be a railing for safety.purposes.

We had a weekend trip and had an awesome trip. The space was charming and the dock was easy to access and use for our ski boat. Steve and the staff were very responsive and the stay exceeded our expectations.

Perfect location

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was perfect. Right in the bay so wasn’t too busy with boats which made it great for paddle boarding. Very clean, walking distance to restaurants, access to kayaks, an arcade and a fun little fire pit spot. Steve was an amazing host and even offered us noodles when he noticed our float had deflated. So many great things to say.

The property was very clean and cute. Nicely renovated. Great communication with property manager. You can not get any closer to the water. Beautiful views. Easy walk to the bay for restaurants, mini golf,swimming. We will be back if it doesn’t get booked up fast.

Great stay right on the lake

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this two-floor apartment right on the lake. It looked recently updated and had everything we needed. The bedroom opened up to a deck next to the water, meaning we were steps from taking a swim, and we regularly sat on the dock to enjoy the lake (great if you have a boat). The property is less than half a mile from Alton Bay with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Steven was very responsive when I had questions and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful waterfront location

Wonderful spot on the water, the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and tidy. The property is located on a main road so you do need to be careful with dogs and kids, but that would not deter me from staying again and the on site parking is really helpful. Spiral stairs inside the property require a little dexterity but I think thats clear/to be expected. Great proximity to Major mountain and Gunstock. Unbeatable views right on the water, and clear and friendly communication from the host. Walked to the nearest restaurant and dinner exceeded expectations. For us, the stay was perfect and we are very happy we found it! Thank you!

Beautiful View of Alton Bay - Lake Winnipesaukee!

We loved this beautiful property on Alton Bay. Steven was a responsive and accommodating host. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and updated. The kitchen, living areas, and bedroom were roomy and nicely decorated with many amenities. We were visiting family in the area and there was plenty of room to have another couple over for dinner or game night. The bed was comfortable, and you could hear the waves with the windows open. The dock is a great spot to hang out and watch the activity on the bay. The location is close to the many towns around Lake Winnipesaukee with easy drives to Laconia, Gilford, Wolfeboro, and Meredith. We would recommend this excellent property and would definitely stay again when we visit New Hampshire.

Totally Dissatisfied and Inconvenienced

We were put in the Naples unit which we now find out was less than charged. The pictures shown on the website apparently was for the higher priced unit. Deceptive! No meet and greet as stated by Vacanza NH staff. He is on vacation in Florida. We found entire property void of any owner/staff or other guests. Left to our own accord. Rental unit while clean, we found all furnishings outdated, worn out and extremely uncomfortable. Living room had a couch that was hard as a wooden plank. The Murphy bed mattress was soft in middle causing wife and I to roll towards each other during sleep. Bedroom was on lower level and bathroom on upper. Access to either was by way of restricted width noisy metal spiral stairs. Nighttime bathroom visits were challenging at best. Internet/Wi-Fi would inexplicably connect and drop on both cells and IPads when using. Only a microwave was available for food prep. Ended up having to eat out at all times. On 2nd day the town water was shut off. Remedy was a maintenance visit putting system on well water. Initiated by rep in FL. Can you say heavy iron taste and smell with yellowish water during showering and toilet use. Ended up buying bottled water for drinking and coffee making. Listed Unit amenities were not fully available. One specific amenity was geared to my fishing desire. Vacanza lists an available on site canoe and kayak on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Nada, unless I pulled one out of storage. Enough for now.

….this customer was allowed to utilize our fishing kayaks and all our kayaks for FREE…. as this was a transition from fall to winter booking we had placed our kayaks in a different area. Though still accessible. The water shut off was roughly 18 minutes while the town transitioned to winter service (out of our control)…we are aware that some people will complain about everything however we tried our best to accommodate. The unit David rented was completely the same as the one pictured ….David asked if we could help him put the kayaks in the water and to cut a tree that’s on the bank. We do not staff on Sunday when he arrived and offered help on Monday however David stated that a friend of his was going to help him put the fishing kayak (that we offered to David for free but usually charge) into the water and we weren’t going to cut a tree along the bank. The furnishings are less than a year old in all of our units, the WiFi we talked you through and you connected (user error). There’s a bbq and hot plates in unit as well as a microwave. Again all kayaks are readily accessible however we do not carry and launch them. As David is an older gentleman we understand the frustration of not being able to do the things you used to do and tried our best to accommodate by offering help which was declined
