Good location, comfortable home for the four of us (adults). We appreciated the coffee supply! Internet work well and we used the dining table to spread out our work. It rained a couple of days so we didn't spend any time outside, but the yard would be nice in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
Hot tub wasn’t working. We were very disappointed, reimbursed 50 which didn’t seem like much considering we chose this house because we really wanted a hot tub. No fire it as described on details. Lightening in bedrooms, master bathroom and patio area were very low.

Lights were not all working. Brown stains on master bedroom bed sheet. One toilet barely flushed properly. BBQ pit was a danger due to rusted leg. The lack of lighting outside added risk. My son bumped into the BBQ pit and it fell over on him because the leg was rusted thru and it broke. No light over the hot tub and the TV out there didn’t work.
One of the few 4 bedroom houses listed in the area, it's perfect for a girls gettaway. Plenty of space with a cute outdoor area and hot tub. A perfect place to return to after a day at the wineries and an easy walk to Main St. This was my second time to stay on the property and hope to go back again soon.

Girls weekend getaway
We absolutely loved everything about the Oehler House. It was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. It is very cute, modern and cozy with awesome décor. Just a block or so from the Main street, but it was hard to want to leave the house! All the amenities were as noted in the description and were more than suitable for a group of gals. The owners are very responsive and are also very sweet to be shipping me back a few personal items that we failed to pack up.
We are all ready to go back! A+

Great couple's weekend house
Me and my husband along with 3 other couples stayed at this super cute house for Valentine's weekend. It was fully equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. My husband contacted the owner and even arranged for flowers to be in the house when we got there. The owners also left a box of Valentine chocolates for us to enjoy. The only thing I would improve upon would be the bed in the cellar. The slats kept falling off the bed causing it to sag in the middle.

Amazing Thanksgiving stay!!!
My family and I had a wonderful time at your home this holiday weekend. We have stayed at rental properties all over the place and this is hands down the nicest. The furniture is very nice, the kitchen super well equipped....has a Keurig and a regular coffee pot, and every appliance and dish you could possibly need. Beds are comfy, backyard is a great place to sit around the fire pit and our group really enjoyed the hottub with the outside TV. This place is also decorated really nice, even had holiday decorations up already. Only negative at all was that the room that was downstairs in what appeared to be a converted basement was tiny, the ceiling was very low, and not having any windows made it seem very claustrophobic. Our two teenage girls were going to stay down there but decided instead to sleep on the pull out sofa. I would rent this place again in a minute.....just would not plan on using the downstairs room.
The listing is for a 4 bedroom unit but the 4th bedroom is a basement with no window or door egress on that level which is required by Texas law. To get down to the basement is a steep set of stairs and a trap door to cover it. I communicated with the host and he offered a reasonable concession but then refused to answer either on the app or with repeated attempts to reach him by VRBO. Very disappointing for what was otherwise a nice unit had they only listed it appropriately.
Nice layout for a friends group. Inside was clean.
We rented the house to use the outdoor area and to grill. The grill was so rusted we had to buy grill mats to use it. The outdoor chairs in the back and front porch had not been cleaned in forever. We had to get out there and scrub them with cleaner and a brush. The spa was nice but the cover was filthy. I asked the owner about it and he said it is hardly used so they don’t clean it often.
Anyway it needs a few repairs. Kitchen cabinet door fell off the hinges while trying to open the cabinet. Otherwise it was fine.
Owner allowed late checkout which was very nice. I think he just needs to visually inspect it as all these issues were obvious to see. Easy check-in and owner was responsive. Definitely bring things like cooking oil, Saran and aluminum foil if you plan to cook. Otherwise plenty of kitchenware.

Do Not Stay Here
This place was completely misrepresented in other reviews. I would not stay here again because it was gross. It was furnished like someone's grandmother died and nothing had been touched for 50 years. Not one window could be opened. It was filthy. There was a huge pile of dirty laundry in the laundry room when we arrived. There were dried coffee grounds in the coffee maker. The toilets looked like they had never been cleaned. We took a pan out of the cupboard to cook with and it was dirty. One bathroom door would not open more than a few inches so you had to slide in sideways. There was no shampoo in either bathroom. We had 1 hand towel for 4 people. I've stayed at cleaner Motel 6s. The basement "room" is a storm shelter with no access other than a ladder with a trap door that looked completely illegal as a bedroom. 2 people in our group took one look at it and left to get a hotel room. We feel completely scammed.

Pictures did not resemble the actual property. Home is for sale. Backyard has been completely neglected. Inside the house, lamps weren't working, blinds were torn apart, calcium build up in Keurig machine, toilet stains, etc. My friend complained about the bed pillows in the blue room, saying they had an overpowering smell of Febreze. Location was good but improvements need to be made so it resembles the actual property listed.

The hot tub and backyard looked like it hadn't been given attention or cleaned in months. No firepit or grill on site as advertised.
My cousins and Aunt came and we really enjoyed the house! We love it’s old charm and how cozy it was. Plus, we all loved being so close to downtown that we walked every where! Great house!!!!
This house was the perfect spot for our extended family gathering. 5 adults and 3 kids all had something to enjoy in this home. S’mores were made with the fire pit, tag was played on the big front lawn, and of course the hot tub was enjoyed as well. We walked to Main Street multiple times and it was an easy walk for us all.
