Located just 1.2 miles from the heart of Mountain Village (or a scenic half-mile walk), this four-story getaway offers an ideal layout with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. You'll find a convenient home office setup, three private balconies (all with incredible alpine views), a heated garage, and a private hot tub - perfect for après-ski relaxation. Fire up the gas grill and dine al fresco surrounded by fresh mountain air.

Inside, gather in the expansive Great Room featuring a gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and custom woodwork. Overall great experience. Pros:--locations was great - easy to get to and from the slopes. easy shuttle pick up. --Nice kitchen (well stocked), good appliances--Very nice bathrooms and 4 of them. Cons:--the place is a bit dated - physical keys (time to upgrade to digital locks guys)--no check-in sheet or QR code with all information needed - had to dig through email and ultimately email property managers (who were very receptive thankfully!)--furniture dated with no USB plugs, old lamps, etc. --pet hair was noticeable from other guests. --no big deal breakers, but even a small change would put this place to the top. If these relatively minor issues were fixed, I would give 5 stars. I would stay here again.

Home was perfect for our family of 6. Great location & lots of room to stretch out after a fun day in Telluride. Great views! Only complaint is communication with local property management. They were not as responsive as I would have liked about missing items from the home and the needed access code for the Dial-a-ride.

annual ski trip

We had a great stay at Tristant for our annual ski trip with 9 guys. This is a great location and very convenient to the slopes, grocery, and the gondola. The only dissapontment was not being able to use the dial a ride shuttle. We tried multiple times get an acess code but every code we were given did not work. Overall the unit was great, and I would highly reccomend.

Great location

Great spot for skiing. Ski in/ski out can be a little bit of a hike but not bad at all and is easier with the funicular (they need to leave better instructions on the exact order to enter the access code. I had to learn from someone else riding it). On demand shuttle service was extremely convenient and easy to use. Also they could do something about the ominous icicles that form above on the top of the roof above the hot tub. But overall great place and really enjoyed the stay.

After landing in Montrose and driving to Telluride, we arrived with five children and four adults and could not enter the house. The lockbox code worked, but there was no key inside. We stood outside in the freezing cold for over 30 minutes while I tried, on three different phones, to reach VRBO or the property manager. Our driver eventually had to leave, and we were stuck outside with our luggage and kids.When we finally received a garage code and entered the home, it was in unacceptable condition. A bedroom was in disarray, the kitchen was filthy with food left out, trash piled up, dirty dishes everywhere, and unused food still in the refrigerator. There were also items in the trash that my children should not have been exposed to.Adding to the situation, my child staying in the lowest bedroom saw a rodent running through the house. My daughter and niece were also unable to sleep due to constant loud noise coming from what we believe was a utility or hot water heater room. Maintenance was contacted, but the issue was never resolved, and they had to sleep on the couch for one night.We were promised that the cleaning fee and one night of the rental would be refunded. The cleaning fee was refunded, but despite repeated follow-ups, VRBO has not responded regarding the promised one-night refund. In my opinion, this is dishonest and extremely poor customer service.

Good Space

We enjoyed this property, but with little skiers, the ski in ski out aspect is tough. Easier for adults to do the ski in ski out but definitely still not the easiest. The rooms were great, it was very clean and had all the cooking stuff needed. Only thing I would recommend for the property manager is to have an accessible broom and dust pan and a vacuum. We asked for one and a broom was delivered but would’ve been nice to just have one there to keep things clean. Location is very close to the market which is where one of the gondolas is located so if you don’t mind driving, that’s an easy access point to skiing with little ones. Overall, it was a great stay and a beautiful view. Property manager was very helpful when we needed things.

Home was of super high quality construction. However I rented this based on the hot tub. The hot tub smelled and was right on the road with no privacy at all. Also the clothes dryer didn’t work properly and we ran out of hot water after one shower which was unfortunate for the other 5 people in our group. Other than that well stocked and clean.

Location, location, location

Alway love to visit Telluride/Mountain Village! This is technically ski in/ski out but not the easiest access to the slopes. Takes a little hiking (uphill at the end of the day) that can be difficult if there is significant fresh snow….we had 30+ inches over 3 days. We were given 2 kitchen garbage bags of thin stature for 5 days in a condo that will sleep 10 people. Called the management company to bring some more and were told that we only get a “starter set” of trash bags and we would need to obtain more on our own. Seems ridiculous considering what we paid for the lodging. Overall nice place but LOTS OF STEPS! Four floors to navigate at 10,000 feet. Keep that in mind when renting this place. Not the most convenient getting to and from the gondola that takes you to the center of Mountain Village and Telluride. You will want to drive to the gondola or take a shuttle. Short trip (3minutes) but you will want to be in a motorized vehicle as it’s not the safest walk down from the condo and too steep to walk up unless you don’t mind working up a sweat as it’s about .5 miles uphill at 10K feet. Condo was clean. Hot tub was great at the end of the day. Almost a necessity after the tough skiing in all that new snow! A super area in Colorado to visit anytime of the year.

Father's Son Ski Weekend

Liked the facility - Lot's of Stairs - but still very nice. Too bad the lift was down when we were there this past weekend - would really have liked the convenience of the lift. Hot Tub area was pretty deep in snow - so we passed on using the Hot Tub. I had requested to have the Split Kings ALL split - but 1 bedroom was not (we made it work) Could use a little foil or clear saran wrap in the kitchen. We left some beers and milk un opened .... I would rent it again if I needed a place with 9 beds thank you, Denny
