Enjoy the peacefulness of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas. This newly remodeled, high-end, one-bedroom condo is nestled on the second floor within the tropical landscape and offers all of the amenities of home. Tastefully decorated in a pallet of blues and greys, this home contains added features such as recessed lighting and USB ports on walls throughout. The open and inviting living room is made up of a large leather couch with plush pillows, an overstuffed matching armchair, a TV and a sliding glass door leading out to the balcony. The full kitchen is equipped with all things needed to prepare a meal with spacious Corian countertops, new cabinets, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, electric mixer, wine glasses, an Insta pot, crockpot, waffle maker, dishes, kid-friendly utensils, full set of pots and pans. Sit down for meals at the wooden dining table with seating for four and four additional stools at the breakfast bar. The master bedroom (BR1) contains two Queen beds, a closet, a dresser for your beach attire and a TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a vanity with a blow-dryer, towel warmer, bidet and a large tiled shower with a rainfall showerhead and a glass door. There is also a full-size washer and dryer for your use during your stay. Take in the ocean breeze while sitting out on the balcony with your morning coffee or cold beverage. This complex offers a new golf cart accessible boardwalk to the beach. After a day of fun at the beach, cool off in the shared pool, or grill up snacks and dinner on the shared grills. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife and fishing charters. It was very nice. I would suggest a golf cart. We brought a wagon to use to walk down to the boardwalk. Overall it was a great experience! We would love to stay there again. Next time we will rent a golf cart. It had everything we needed for the stay. I will say it was kinda hard finding the place. We missed our turn twice.

Lovely

Very nice place that's in a great spot. We walked do to the beach every morning. The community was quite and set out away from downtown so it felt a little more private. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Weekend

This was a perfect size for three adults. All furniture was very comfy and clean. The kitchen is amazing and even has a wide selection of spices, pretty much anything you could need in a kitchen.

Cute Condo Close to Beach

The condo and the location are great. Short walk to a great beach. We had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. Only downside was one hand towel and one wash cloth for three people.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This rental was exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of room for a family of 4 with 2 queen sized beds in the bedroom. The property was clean and updated. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more! Parking was easy and convenient.

Surprisingly well supplied

Very nice property with that is very clean and safe. Property is well furnished in kitchen and all areas. Modern appliances and all in working order. Close to the beach but bring mosquito spray in the wet times.

This is our new favorite place! Short walk to the beach or we also drove a mile north for car access to the beach. Nice to have 2 options when you have ones who don't want to walk! Had everything we needed + more. We especially enjoyed a little balcony with chairs. Only thing I can think of to improve is a full-length mirror, but wasn't too big of a problem for a 2-nights stay!

September get away

Made many trips to El Cortez property years ago and haven't been here in several years. We were pleasantly surprised with the lovely updated interiors of the property. Only downside is the massive amount of new construction, Port A won't be "little Port A" anymore. But we will be back as we prefer the smaller crowds during the off season.

Nice

If the closet in the bedroom is a locking safe/closet, it needs to be revealed to the guest. It has a keypad, but the same code from the front door doesn't work on it. Still a mystery. Overall, a very nice condo set-up with lots of room and posh things in it. Would book again.
