The Silver Frog Guesthouse, complete with a queen bed, fold-out twin couch, kitchen and shower-only bathroom, is set back from the main house and overlooks its own private garden patio. It is located in a quiet neighborhood within a 5-minute walk to downtown Ashland shopping, dining and theatre.
After a day of outdoor adventure, recreation or theatre-going, guests may dine indoors or alfresco, plus relax with streaming entertainment, board games or drift back through history with a local novel.

Perfect location to explore Ashland's shops, restaurants, Shakespeare, and Lithia Park by foot. A perfectly clean and well appointed little studio with a lovely garden to enjoy. Sue was a perfect host and was fun to hear her expertise of the area.We will stay here again!

Walkable to everything - restaurants, the shows, boutiques, fabulous coffee! The space has everything you would need and the outdoor patio is wonderful for your morning coffee and emails. Sue was a lovely host and I enjoyed our conversation about the history of Ashland - read her book if you can!

Very short walk to downtown Ashland and the OSF theatres. Lovely outdoor area, easy parking, inside exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. Lots of coffee selection for the Keurig. Everything was excellent.

Perfect location when attending OSF

Clean,quiet, and cozy. We loved the private yard and all the comforts of home. We walked everywhere except a grocery store and to visit a family member for dinner. I would stay here again when in Ashland.

Comfortable with great location!

My partner and I had such a wonderful stay here. The location is unbeatable in terms of walkability. We could walk to almost all of our desired restaurants and activities! The location is also fairly quiet, with minimal noise from neighbors or downtown. The cottage itself was very comfortable and the perfect size for 2 people staying a few nights. Lots of natural light as well, which I loved. We would definitely stay again.

Wondering cottage

This was perfrct for a weekend getaway! The location is wonderful- we walked to restaurants, shopping, and Lithia Park. The outdoor patio was absolutely perfect- a great place to sit and chat, or enjoy a cup of coffee and a book.

Sweet Spot

We came up from California's central valley to see a performance at the Shakespeare Festival. This was a perfect place to stay for my partner and I! It has all the amenities. Thank you again for such a lovely place to stay ❤️

The property is well located in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The patio is private, and nicely landscaped. The host is gracious. The accommodations are small, particularly the bathroom and shower, although the fixtures are good. The very small love seat is hard as a rock, and not at all comfortable for sitting, meaning the only really comfortable place to sit is the bed. Everything else was quite satisfactory.

A Perfect Ashland Retreat

This studio was perfect for my stay in Ashland - within walking distance to the theaters and main downtown area, quiet and clean, with an outdoor area I basically had to myself. Sue is an excellent host, responsive and very friendly - I'll be back!

Compact in a great location

Everything was perfect. The place was well supplied bed was comfortable. It was so easy to walk to town. We could easily walk to the plays, the park and the ice cream shop. Easy checking and checkout. We would stay here again.

Delightful cottage in Ashland

Walking distance to eateries, coffee shops, plays, and shopping. There is a lovely outdoor area for enjoying morning coffee. Plenty of hot water for showers. Super clean and comfortable. Flooring throughout appears to be brand new and is beautiful. Easy check in. Host supplies necessary information and is available for any questions. We would highly recommend this cozy little cottage!!

Best little getaway place EVER!

Clean, well appointed and so cozy! Everything you need is there! The patio area is so beautiful, landscaped with flowers and plants that are impeccably maintained. Sue is delightful and couldn't have been a more gracious hostess. This little house is in a PERFECT location... Walking distance to downtown, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, the Shakespeare festival and more. I'd recommend this rental to everyone!

Short walk to OSF theaters. Quiet cottage. Not recommended for large people as the bathroom is tiny. Would benefit from better outside lighting in terms of after sunset/theater.

Lovely and appreciated

A lovely little cottage with its own private patio within walking distance to the Theaters. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and easy to get to everywhere. This cottage is slightly larger than a hotel room. It has hotel room amenities, plus a very small cooktop. For our purposes, in the future, we will look to see if this is available before looking at any other options.
