Wonderful stay at Ida’s Cottage. Lovely Craftsman home, great location with easy walk to town and Britt. Well furnished and stocked with everything you need. Comfortable beds and linens
The location is great--walking distance to town, parks, Britt amphitheater.
Lodging was clean and well stocked.
Good instructions for getting there and expectations for departure.
The house was charming and comfortable. We were able to park at the house and walk to and through the main area of the town.
We would stay again at this wonderful cottage.
This was my second time to stay at this property, and it continues to be a lovely getaway spot for friends for visiting Britt, wineries, shops and restaurants. Lovely and comfortable.
Lovely craftsman home in quiet neighborhood.
Clean and well maintained and close to everything. Absolutely charming and well stocked kitchen. We will definitely book again!
This was our second time at Ida's Place and it was just as wonderful as the first time, but too short. Ida's Cottage is very well appointed, clean, comfortable and in an excellent location for walking all around Jacksonville. We also finally took our bikes into Forest Park and that was an adventure. Deanna is always super responsive and helpful. We shall Return!
This cottage is very well-appointed, has everything you need, and is SO clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our ambling about town and walking to the Britt Fest in the evening. Note for families with little ones...there is a wonderful little park with a fun water feature that is within walking distance (for our six-year-old).
We'll be back!
I spent 3 weeks here, mostly while working in the area. Very quaint place two blocks from the main street in Jacksonville. Place was great, comfortable, all the necessary amenities, owners are very helpful and friendly, as was the booking agency. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our recent quick getaway to Jacksonville. Deanna's darling home was a perfect fit for the weekend. The house was everything as advertised. It was clean, quiet, centrally located and walking distance to the Britt. We will definitely book again when we return to Jacksonville. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
My husband and I have been venturing to Jacksonville for Britt for the last 10+ years. We have enjoyed all of our "homes away from home" in that time, but Ida's Cottage was the most comfortable. Deanna was super responsive when our code would not work on check-in and we are so grateful to her. The home is clean, quiet, well-stocked, and in a perfect location for walking everywhere and biking. We hope to return!
This was the perfect place for me and my friends to gather.
3 blocks from town so we walked everywhere. Only drove to a nearby lavender farm.
Our best meal was at C Street Grill homemade pasta and wild salmon.
The house was charming, with a wonderful porch for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails.
I’m going to come back again for sure.
We have stayed in some wonderful VRBOs and Airbnbs, (and some miserable ones). If we could give this a higher rating we would. Comfortable, well supplied, close to town, and quiet. Beds and lighting are important to us - wonderful linens, good lighting for reading in bed and otherwise. Sitting on the nicely shaded porch for coffee, what a great way to start the morning and end the evening! Deanna was responsive and friendly.... just very nice.
It is an excellent place to stay in Jacksonville.
Very nice, but we are older, my wife needed grab bars at the tub, she can't do stairs so the nice bed went un-used, tv was limited because we don' do electronics well and I didn't see a back door in case of fire.
This was the cutest house! Has everything you could need. Other places I have rented have been stingy with paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher soap etc. I have actually had to go out and buy more. But here there was actually extra if you ran out!
Very appreciated!
Every aspect of our return visit to Jacksonville and Ida's Cottage found our approval. The quick return of messages, the stocked pantry, the easy operation of the appliances, and the convenient and quiet location of the home spelled out relaxation for my family. The grocery store is two short walking blocks away, the local restaurants were friendly and accommodating, the walking tours around the village interesting - with friendly residents - all relaxing. Okay, to keep this real, my girls did mention the "crunchy and noisy" mattress covers in the twin-bed bedroom....... but they did sleep well, and so did we. We enjoy visiting Medford, Ashland, and Jacksonville, and look forward to the return. Thank you!
