Foxes Den is a brand new log cabin that is located just 25 minutes outside of Boone and Blowing Rock (just minutes from the Blue Ridge Pkwy) and is situated in a postcard like setting on 8 beautiful acres with a class A stocked trout stream that runs directly behind the cabin. The stream, Elk Creek, is rated as the second cleanest stream in all of NC. If you are looking for a streamside cabin you will not find a better location anywhere. There is abundant wildlife including trout, deer, turkey, fox, beavers, and birds.

Foxes Den cabin sleeps up to 6 with two bedrooms with king beds, a queen sleeper sofa, two full baths, and a full kitchen and includes all the utensils, linens, and towels necessary to make your stay comfortable. The cabin also has a large deck with a hot tub that overlooks the stream and picnic tables where you can have a unique dining experience or simply sit and relax to the sights and sounds of the stream. There is also a gas fireplace to create a warm and cozy atmosphere on those cool mountain evenings. This cabin offers privacy with easy access in a setting that is unique and picturesque.

If the site is closed or if you aren’t able to take the trash to the site, we kindly ask that you leave a small tip for the housekeeper and she will take it for you. Thank you and safe travels home.

My grandson and I enjoyed our weekend at Foxes Den very much. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the outside deck was perfect. My grandson enjoyed the river and all the nature. We both enjoyed the beautiful hot tub to relax in before going to sleep. I give this location a five plus star!

This home is very pretty, neat, and clean. The hot tub is so relaxing at the end of a long day. My favorite part is the rushing stream near the deck. I'd definitely stay here again.

Location was beautiful with the access to the creek being a great addition. There are a few other cabins on the property but they are very spaced out and it still feels very private the way they set them up. The only downside is that the internet would go out during the evening thunderstorms, and there is really no cell service where you are located, making it impossible to alert the owners to any issues or concerns. Outside of that, the property was clean, well stocked and very enjoyable. Hope to return in the future!

The cabin was very clean. Very peaceful. Last 8.5 miles to the cabin was super sharp windy road. Dish washer didn’t work, but it wasn’t really a problem. Hot tub needs cleaned badly. It didn’t appear to have much chemicals in it. A lot of tiny baby deer in the area. The beds were really comfortable. We slept really good. We were familiar with Boone and other towns so we knew our way around.

This cabin was awesome! From the location to cleanliness to being stocked with everything you need. It's right on the stream and the view is beautiful! The cabin, itself, was great...beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with anything you need. Owner communication was great, as well. Will definitely book this cabin again!
