Happy times in this fantastic town house

Wel love this house, gardens and pool. We have family in the village the house enables us to spend precious time and entertain our daughter and grandchildren. Furnishings are pleasent and utensils etc adequate to cook meals ans bbq x

Very nice holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in this house. We really enjoyed being able to enjoy Spanish life for a while. The house is fully equipped. The pool was lovely. The different balconies were also nice. The beds and the showers were also very good. We also experienced the contact with the host as very pleasant.

Amazing House. Full of character.

We have just returned from a fantastic week hiking in the Sierra Nevada and El Garzopo proved to be the perfect base to explore the local area. The house is right near the centre of Orgiva, yet despite this is very peaceful, spacious and has a surprisingly large garden (with pool) for a property so close to the middle of town. It is clearly a very old building but looks to have been recently renovated so that it keeps all of its Spanish Town-House character but without feeling 'dated'. Everything works as it should in the property - powerful, hot showers on demand, an efficient cooker and (unusually for a holiday rental property) no strange smells!! There are several very nice bars and restaurants within a very short walk of the property and a supermarket just around the corner. If you want to explore further afield you'll need a car and although the house has it's own garage, the streets near the property are VERY narrow so we parked our car in the large, free carpark 2 minutes walk away so that didn't bother us. El Garzopo is the perfect place to spend a few days relaxing in a quiet Andalusian town or as a base to return to for a few drinks around the pool or on the terrace, looking at the stunning mountain scenery as the sun goes down. Bliss!

Na 2 weken te hebben rondgereisd in Andalusië, hebben we de laatste week ik dit heerlijke huis verbleven. Drie verdiepingen die allemaal erg origineel zijn ingericht. Wij waren er in september met buitentemperaturen boven de 30 graden, maar het bleef binnen toch aangenaam. Perfecte locatie tov winkels en horeca en toch kun je heerlijk rustig in de fraaie bloemrijke tuin relaxen. Vanuit Orgiva kun je ook uitstapjes maken naar bijv. de Sierra Nevada en Granada. Niet onbelangrijk is dat de verhuurder - Stefan - erg vriendelijk en bereid is je waar het kan, te helpen.

Estancia muy agradable y tranquila

Hemos pasado tres semanas muy agradables en Órgiva. La casa era muy bonita, el jardín era precioso y muy agradable, incluyendo una piscina con jacuzzi no muy grande, pero no hacía falta más. Adicionalmente, los dueños, Stefan y Naomi, eran muy hospitalarios asudando en lo que hiciera falta.

Alpujjara at it's finest!

Al Garzopo, This house was truly remarcable. We searched a very long time for the perfect Vacation home for our 4 days trip to the Alpujjara. When this house came available we were beyond happy. The pictures already excite me although they don't really capture the house in the best way because when we came in the house, wow! First of all the street was very cosy. They reminded me of some of the Albaicin Streets. Narrow and full of character. When we entered the house Stefan showed us immediately hospitality so we felt very welcome in the house. The house is quite big! Stefan showed us around the house and started by showing us the big (!) Yard. Wow we are still speechless about how good the yard was set up. The barbecue, the dining areas, the jacuzzi pool, the lemon, avocado Trees. Every Was very complementairy to each other. We spent alot of our time in the yard and we don't regret it! The house has a very Cosy living room and the kitchen is equipped with every item you can imagine! It was very easy to have a dishwasher! The living area also has a very Cosy terrace where we spent our mornings and evenings watching at the Sunset with a beautiful view of the Sierra Nevada and the church from the village in front of it. Although the house was in the Middle of other houses it was very very quite and there we're hardly any neighbours seen! The sleeping area was on the 2nd floor. We had the master bedroom with it's own lovely terrace and beautiful view from your bed. The room had everthing you needed and in the evenings the room was very cool. Perfect! I have to say, i really loved the bathrooms. They were full of character and the sink was very beautiful. The house overall has some very beautiful decoration. We really loved the handmade carpet on the walls on stairs. Also the bathroom again was also equipped, it had a Nice dryer for your hair and what we also very much liked is that the house had a washing machine. We were in spain for a long time so it was very nice to wash our clothes in the house. The village was quite charming, we spent some Moments in the local café playing some pool and wandered to the hill. We also got to see Pampeneira as Stefan suggested us. It was less than a half hour away from us! (With the car) I would definetly recommend this house to anyone who is visiting the Alpujjara or the Andalusian region in general. You feel like you are in true Andalusia! Stefan and Naomi, the best of luck. We Will define

Magnífica casa para una escapada relax

La casa es estupenda, está muy limpia y muy cuidada. La ubicación es muy buena y aunque está en medio del pueblo, es muy silencioso el entorno. La piscina es estupenda, también muy limpia e incluso tiene una parte de jacuzzi y el jardín aunque no es muy grande, es maravilloso. Sin duda 100% recomendable para las personas que busquen un entorno agradable para relajarse y en una casa muy limpia y muy cuidada. Espero que podamos volver a repetir pronto. Los dueños son un matrimonio encantador.

Family holiday in Orgiva

We had a fabulous family holiday in August. The house is finished to a high standard. There are some lovely views of the mountains. We spent most of the time in the garden and pool. There garden is beautiful with lemon , orange and avocado trees providing shade. It was a lovely place to relax and have some family time. The hosts Stefan and Neomi were very helpful and friendly and made the stay even better. Hope to return in the future.

CASA RURAL CON ENCANTO EN CENTRO PUEBLO.

Alojamiento rural en el centro de Orgiva, cuenta con todo tipo de detalles, se nota que los propietarios pusieron en él su corazón. Jardín espectacular con piscina. En el interior todo nuevo cuidado al más mínimo detalle , con todo lo necesario para disfrutar como si estuvieras en casa . Cochera para coche pequeño, yo tengo un megane normal y costò meterlo. La barre est très haute !

C'est la dernière restauration de Naomie et Stefan et on peut dire qu'ils se sont surpassés!La maison est magnifique:beaux matériaux et authenticité. Elle se trouve derrière l'église d'Orgiva, près de Lanjarron,Pampaneira et à 50 km environ de Grenade. Les propriétaires sont toujours charmants et mettent un point d'honneur à entretenir leur bien avec beaucoup de soin. Piscine, jardin,buanderie:prestations dignes d'un 5 étoiles !

Très bel endroit

Un village situé au cœur des montagnes avec une vue à couper le souffle, une très belle maison avec tous les équipements et le confort nécessaire. Une piscine qui fait jacuzzi, une terrasse tout en haut avec une très belle vue. Vraiment c était une très belle découverte. On a passé un agréable séjour. Maison cinq étoiles !

Ici, vous êtes au coeur du village, dans une maison sur 2 étages entièrement rénovée avec beaucoup d’authenticité, de charme et de style. Les meubles, les matériaux, du sol au plafond, tout est choisi et agencé avec beaucoup de soin et dans le respect des traditions locales. La surprise est vraiment totale quand on entre dans cette maison, et chaque pièce en est une nouvelle. La vue de chacune des 2 terrasses est plus que formidable. La maison est une maison 5 étoiles ! Ou vous n’aurez que peu de chose à regretter, même pas les escaliers, qui vous maintiendrons en bonne forme. Et ce n’est pourtant pas dans la maison que nous avons passé le plus de notre temps, mais bien dans le jardin, car ce jardin est un havre de paix, de beauté, fleuri et ombragé. Sous l’avocadier géant, au fond du jardin, dans la piscine, ou dans les hamacs, vous trouverez l’inspiration nécessaire pour créer ou juste dormir. Avant notre voyage, à notre arrivée et à notre départ, Stefan et Naomie on été des hôtes très sympathiques, très réactifs dans nos échanges, et aussi chaleureux. Je recommande vivement ce lieu pour les personnes en quête d’authenticité, de charme et de calme. Et je recommande également cette formidable région. Alpujarra forever !

Fühlen Sie sich zu Hause in einem tollen Haus

Wieder mal ein Urlaub in Orgiva. Wieder einmal bei Naomi und Stefan. Gastgeber: freundlich, kompetent, hilfsbereit. Diesmal waren wir im (neuen) Haus Garzopo. Nach zwei Wochen im Herbst mit beheizten Pool, dieses Mal im Sommer (August); sonnige und schattige Plätze in großer Auswahl: auf Terrassen, im Garten, am und im Pool. Der Pool war dieses Mal nicht beheizt, aber gut warm durch die Sonne. Im Haus trotzdem angenehme Temperaturen, trotz 35 Grad draußen. Alles in allem: familienfreundlich, zentral und dennoch ruhig gelegen, Stadtbummel und Einkäufe fußläufig, Haus mehr als großzügig ausgestattet. Gesamturteil: sehr empfehlenswert!

A truly magical place

Beautifully designed house full of Andulucian charm. wonderfully renovated and everything there for a comfortable stay. spent most of the time in the garden and eating meals off the terraces.morning is wonderful you can sit on the balcony and watch the sun comes up over the mountains with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice with oranges from the garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The village has loads going on with lovely cafe bars offering free tapas with a drink. We hope to return back there soon.

Wunderschönes Stadthaus

Wunderschönes Stadthaus Garzopo ist ein stilvolles, perfekt ausgestattetes Stadthaus, zentral gelegen, aber sehr ruhig. Es bietet viel Platz auf mehreren Balkonen, im Garten und natürlich im Haus. Kochen macht Spaß in der Küche und Einkaufen kann zu Fuß gemacht werden. Auch große Familien haben genügend Platz und Räume, um sich mit einem Buch zurückzuziehen. Auch im November war das Schwimmen im beheizten Pool ein Vergnügen.  Freundlicher Empfang durch die Vermieter mit guten Ausflugsempfehlungen während der Begrüßung sowie ein leckerer Kuchen.  Mit dem Haus ist alles in Ordnung, es ist schwer, sich zu verabschieden. Wir wären gerne viel länger geblieben. Wonderful town house Garzopo is a stylish, perfectly equipped town house, centrally located but very quiet. It offers a lot of space on several balconies, in the garden and of course in the house. Cooking is fun in the kitchen and shopping can be done on foot. Even large families have enough space and rooms to withdraw with a book. Even in November, swimming in the heated pool was a pleasure.  Friendly reception by the landlords with good recommendations for excursions were given during the welcome as well as a delicious cake.  There's nothing wrong with the house, it's hard to say goodbye. We would have liked to have stayed much longer.

Suberbe maison de vacances

La maison est très agréable à vivre même en cas de fortes chaleurs, grâce à un jardin bien arboré et une belle piscine (très propre!) à température idéale pour se rafraichir. Ventilateurs dans toutes les chambres donc la maison est également aérée le soir. La rénovation est faite avec beaucoup de goût et la maison offre des espaces bien distincts (3chambres et 3 salles de bain), même à 6 vacanciers on ne se marche pas dessus. Stefan et Naomi les propriétaires, sont sympathiques réactifs et disponibles par mail tant avant le séjour que pendant. Maison à deux pas du bourg d'Orgiva. Tous les commerces et animations sont accessibles à pied.

Excellent rapport qualité prix

Stefan et Naomi nous ont accueilli chaleureusement lors de notre arrivée à Orgiva et présenté dans les moindres recoins la demeure qu'ils ont rénové depuis 3 ans (rénové étant un mot inadéquat puisqu'à l'origine, il ne restait que les murs et le toit... on va dire donc entièrement refaite !) Etant les seconds locataires, tout est neuf, parfois refait à l'ancienne (les plafonds avec les poutres et les joncs de la rivière d'à coté), pas de jugement esthétique, les goûts et les couleurs... mais on préfère les murs blancs ;-) 3 niveaux : en bas, le jardin adorable et un peu sauvage et la piscine, 3 endroits à l'ombre pour poser ses fesses et éventuellement se restaurer (2 grandes tables), Une salle de bain avec la machine à laver. Au premier : cuisine, salon, salle de bain, chambre et une (trop) petite terrasse, au second : 2 chambre, 1 salle de bain et la grande terrasse. Ce que nous avons préféré : ma pièce où nous avons passé le plus de temps : le jardin et sa piscine avec un délicieux banc spécial jacuzzi. A améliorer : quelques coussins dans le jardin sur les bancs en pierre et carrelage, des petits matelas sur les transats en plastique soulageraient nos os fragiles ! Même si on est en plein centre d'Orgiva, c'est assez calme si les voisins... le sont (tous locaux) et surtout si l'hôtel au fond du jardin ne décide pas de mettre la musique sur sa terrasse presque toujours... déserte ! La situtation est donc très pratique pour accéder à tous les commerces du centre, à moins de 5 minutes à pied on a 3 supérettes, 3 ou 4 bars, 2 boulangeries, 2 marchands de fruits et légumes et surtout la Churreria, tenue par un adorable couple et dont les churros sont à tomber, les croquetas de pollo (poulet) aussi, les poissons en friture pas mal, et la paella commandée et faite dans l'heure parfaite. Il n'y en a qu'une, toute petite façade, à coté de la pizzeria. Comme on peut tout faire à pied, pas besoin de prendre la voiture et... ça tombe bien. La rue est tellement étroite devant la maison qu'il est impossible de se garer dans le beau garage sauf si vous êtes l'heureux propriétaire d'une Smart, Fiat 500, voiture sans permis, scooter, moto etc... On peut garer gratuitement la voiture à 200 m de la maison, le coin ne craint rien. Pour finir, une telle maison avec de telles prestation pour le prix demandé, c'est juste introuvable en France, soyez en surs !

J'ai de bonnes nouvelles pour vous, le garage restera en blanc! :) Garage - nous pensons qu'une voiture de la taille d'un Golf (pas un kombi) ou d'une Fiesta pourra entrer. Nous demanderons à nos voisins si nous pouvons déplacer une de leurs plantes, donc il y a plus d'espace pour entrer. Et une fois que nous savons exactement quelle voiture de taille peut entrer et ce qui ne l'est pas, nous allons bien sûr mettre à jour notre site.
