Holiday home with stunning views, private pool, free unlimited wifi

Lose yourself in the Alpujarra mountains of Andalucia and rediscover total peace and relaxation. Our holiday home enjoys stunning views of the Sierra Lugar from the terrace, set in a private garden of olive and fruit trees with private swimming pool. The house has the modern comforts of home whilst enjoying the delights of the Andalucian countryside. It has 2 spacious bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room which leads out through French doors to your private patio which provides shade for outdoor breakfasts etc.
Private entrance with car parking area. Terrace with BBQ, and access to the gardens. Feel free to pick your own grapes, figs, oranges, pears, lemons or avocados when in season.
Perfectly situated for a slice of real Spanish life, winter skiing, mountain villages and the beaches of the mediteranean are all on your doorstep.


Things to see and do: The Alpujarras offers a wide range of activities including horse riding, quad biking, paragliding, bird-watching and skiing in winter. You can visit the city of Granada with the famous Alhambra (we recommend you book in advance for this most popular attraction, advance tickets can be bought on https://tickets.alhambra-patronato.es), the caves at Nerja and the spa town of Lanjaron. Mini Hollywood near Almeria is 2 hours away, or just explore the villages of the region with their whitewashed cottages and bougainvillaea covered walls.
For the golfers there is an excellent course at Motril, It is adjoining the beach so for the rest of the family who dont want to play can enjoy other relaxation. There is another course, Santa Clara in Otura.

Take it easy: For those who just want to 'chill' it is a great area to relax and do nothing, read a book, take a dip in the pool with the stunning mountains as a backdrop.

Orgiva: Orgiva is a busy market town with several supermarkets, banks, 2 internet cafes and a variety of bars and restaurants.. Market day is Thursday.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Pepe Rosa. The scenery is fantastic, particularly the view from the back terrace, where we sat for hours in the evenings. The pool and garden area is beautiful and very relaxing. The house is really well designed and easy and enjoyable to be in. Everything works. Excellent TV with hundreds of watching options if you want them. Sheila and Jack (the owners) live in the house immediately next door. They are lovely people and their presence contributes to the feeling of the place. Overall, terrific. We would definitely go back.

Gorgeous views, Sierra Nevada as your backyard

We had a wonderful week at Casa Pepe Rosa. Jack and Sheila were generous hosts. Plenty opportunities for hiking and cycling. Afterwards you can relax under the old, comforting and shady olive tree after a dip in the swimmingpool-with-a-view. Good to know: last part of the lane to the house is unpaved and a little bumpy. And at night there are a good number of barking dogs. Staying here is highly recommended!

Absolutely recommendable! Fantastic place

We spent three weeks as a family at this wonderful place and were really sad when we had to leave. First the location is fantastic because from Orgiva you can easily visit the picturesque Alpurrajas and white villages, the Sierra Nevada, Granada and and the Costa Tropical! The house has a beautiful garden with a private pool for the guests which was big fun for our five-year-old son and just a nice place for sunny afternoons.The house itself was very clean and the big garden was well maintained. You have a gorgeous view over the mountains from the porch and garden and live close to nature without any noise from streets or town. Moreover, Sheila and Jack were the most friendly hosts we have ever met. They gave us many tips about sights, places and events and were really helpful and caring. We will come back!

A little idyll

The property was exactly as described, immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday! We spent a lot of time relaxing in the lovely pool, surrounded by fruit trees of every type, and with a view to the mountains on both sides of the valley. But the property is also well located for day trips to Granada, Nerja and the beach - or for shorter trips to Orgiva and the surrounding mountain villages (Sopurtujar - the village of the witches - was particularly fun) Sheila and Jack were lovely hosts - they were always available to offer suggestions, lend us parasols for the beach etc - but were not intrusive. They hosted us for some fabulous tapas and our boys loved the two dogs, especially the regular visits from Missy!

Het vakantiehuis had alles wat wij nodig hadden. De eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er was een mooie tuin en zwembad. Ondanks het slechte weer waren er veel leuk uitstapjes in de omgeving mogelijk.

Wundervoll

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub im Ferienhaus von Sheila und Jack. Das Ferienhaus ist tip top sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Haus und der Garten sind perfekt um dort den ganzen Tag zu verbringen und zu relaxen. Wir haben die tolle Aussicht sooo genossen! Sheila und Jack haben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. So haben wir tolle Wanderungen in der großartigen Sierra Nevada unternommen haben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder in die Casa Pepe Rosa!

Je recommande cet hebergement

La maison est bien équipée avec une vue exceptionnelle dans un jardin aux larges dimensions planté d'oliviers et bercé par les chants des oiseaux. La détente est assurée en profitant de la piscine. Merci à Sheila et Jack pour leur accueil, leur discrétion mais aussi leur bons conseils, ils sont là si besoin. De plus le village est à 5 minutes avec toutes ses commodités et tapas. Orgiva c'est la porte d'entrée dans l'Alpujarra. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement.

Beautiful Views

Sheila and Jack were lovely and the villa was perfect for us. Stunning views and a short walk or drive from Orgiva which has plenty of places to eat and drink. Perfect for visiting the coast or Granada. We absolutely loved our stay and even left with some home grown olive oil.

Escape to paradise

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our weeks rural escape to paradise. The location and views were fabulous. Property well equipped and pool great. Enjoyed eating fresh figs from the tree for breakfast ever day and picking grapes from the vine to have with cheese for supper. Great hosts always on hand and helpful. We will be back.

Estupendas vacaciones

Es un sitio tranquilo y relajado para pasar las vacaciones y cargar las pilas. Ideal para ir en familia. Mis hijos lo pasaron genial en la piscina y jugando en el césped. Unas vistas maravillosas. A 5 minutos del pueblo donde encuentras supermercados, farmacia, tiendas, bares. Y muchos pueblos de montaña que merece la pena visitar. A media hora de la playa, unos 40 minutos de Granada. Sheila y Jack un trato genial, informándonos de todas las cosas que podíamos realizar, de cuando hay un mercadillo o alguna, actividad en Orgiva que nos podía interesar. Si vas a la playa te ofrecen sombrillas esterillas etc.. Siempre súper atentos con nosotros. Por poner alguna pega, la cama un poco dura, pero un sitio muy recomendable, repetiremos seguro. Muchas gracias a Sheila y Jack lo hemos pasado genial.

A true vacation, love the hosts

We spent a month I. Spain but the bulk of it was in Orgiva - a beautiful town nestled in the valley surrounded by the Sierra Nevada - the Alpujarras - the setting of the home was idyllic and the cherry on top was how loving and lovable both Jack and Shiela are. Just a dreamy holiday that we hope to repeat many more times. Best stay ever - so many beautiful memories created! Only one suggestion would be an upgrade to the furniture which they were already talking about.

Lekker huisje met prima verzorgd zwembad. Prachtige omgeving in de Alpujarra tussen bergen en zee. Het wijkje en het stadje Orgiva vonden we net wat minder stralend. Zeer vriendelijk, hartelijke, behulpzame en gastvrije verhuurders!

Liebenswerte Gastgeber und wunderschöne Unterkunft

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Sheila & Jack und wären gerne auch länger geblieben. Sheila und Jack sind tolle Gastgeber, geben viele Tipps und wir konnten uns mit allen Fragen an die Beiden wenden. Trotzdem hat man genug Privatsphäre. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die beiden Schlafzimmer groß genug und das Internet schnell. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick von der Terrasse auf die Berge und kann am Abend sehr gut die Sterne beobachten. Und obwohl unser 10 jähriger Sohn Hunden nicht sehr aufgeschlossen ist, hat er mit Missy und Holly keinerlei Probleme, die Hunde sind wirklich toll. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit und den gemeinsamen Abend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und bleiben nächstes mal länger.

Un mes fantástico

Pasamos casi un mes en esta casa y de verdad que fue sensacional. La casa es muy práctica, tiene todo lo que se necesita y las vistas son increíbles. El jardín con la piscina es precioso y también se puede disfrutar de las frutas y verduras que hay. Los dueños Sheila y Jack son muy simpáticos y cooperativos. Recomendamos esta casa rural para poder descansar física y anímicamente.
