Located in Diamond Point, this holiday home is near theme parks and on the waterfront. Six Flags Great Escape is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake George and Million Dollar Beach. House of Frankenstein Wax Museum and Around the World Miniature Golf are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or try out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling and ice skating.
Fabulous rental for our 2 night/3 day girls weekend. Property is well equipped, comfortable, immaculate and in the perfect location for accessing things to do in LG. Host was flexible and easy to reach/communicate with. Highly recommend this rental.

Thank you Betsy! So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you back again! Jon Brodie
Beautiful home on Lake George. Cozy, all the amenities of home away from home. Comfortable beds and linens. Open kitchen / living room for visiting. Would have enjoyed a table for eating rather than a large island with stools. Easy to communicate with host - very responsive. Looking forward to visiting again in a different season.
I was hesitant to book because the property was unfinished at the time, but Jon ensured me that it would be ready for our stay ( I believe that we were only the 2nd group to stay there). He continued to communicate and share update photos prior to our arrival date. When we got there, we found the place to be exactly as described. We were greeted with a basket of treats including local wine and snacks which was a nice touch. Fluffy towels, nice bedding, comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen complete with kerig coffee maker. Obviously spotless. Decor was calm and simple. Back porch with rockers overlooked the beautiful Lake George.
The location is directly on the lake in Diamond Point in front of a marina also owned by Jon, which make boat rental seamless. The team there was accommodating and super friendly. Obviously, due to the docks, there was no beach or lake access for swimming. But morning coffee in one of the Adirondack chairs was wonderful. Also had some serious cornhole competitions on the grass with my 84YO father and 22YO son.
This property is attached to an older house and we could hear conversations through the adjoining door when we were in the den area. Which is really the only negative.
Jon and team were so incredibly accommodating to every request. I asked about the hair dryer the first night because it was a listed amenity and I couldn’t find it. Even though I communicated this through VRBO ( not directly), and Jon was out of town, there was a brand-new hair dryer on the front bench by the time we returned from dinner– on a Friday night. Incredibly, the first one delivered that didn’t meet Jon’s standards, although it worked well, and the next morning he sent the property manager to buy a better dryer which we found on the bench Saturday ;)
Riley, the property manager was wonderful. He was always “around” but never in the way. We asked if there was a place to get a cooler for our boat picnic and had one in hand within minutes. He is also a super nice guy.
We have been visiting Lake George ever year for the last 25+ and this will be our new home on the lake for our future trips.
Til next time……
