Amazing Cabin
We travel frequently and my kids said this was the favorite place they have stayed. So well equipped, great laundry, plenty of room, my son thought he would learn guitar, just an amazing place. Location to Yosemite entrance is perfect. Yes the driveway is steep and narrow so be prepared, but it was not a problem at all. We all wish we would have stayed longer and enjoyed this cabin, we would have happily spent a day just hanging at the cabin! If I ever make my way back to Yosemite this is where I am staying.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Todd! It’s wonderful to hear that your kids loved the cabin and that it quickly became their favorite place to stay. We're glad the home’s amenities, like the laundry and spacious layout, helped make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. It sounds like your son had a great time dreaming about learning guitar, what a fun touch!
We’re also happy the location worked so well for your Yosemite adventure, and that the driveway wasn’t an issue for you. It’s lovely to know you all wished for a longer stay to simply relax and soak in the cabin’s charm.
Whenever you’re ready to return to Yosemite, we’d be thrilled to host you again. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any assistance planning your next trip!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods. Great location near the South Gate of Yosemite. Four wheeling at Miami Creek OHV was fun and beautiful.

My bf didn’t want to leave. Nice location. Expensive is the only downside and at times felt the hot water had issues.

Probably not ideal for everyone.
Would not recommend for large persons, those with mobility issues, families with small children or those ill equipped for the steep, treacherous driveway. Great location with beautiful view close to Yosemite National Park.

We appreciate your insights regarding the driveway and accessibility, and we will ensure this information is shared for future guests. It was a nice cabin that had everything we needed for our week in Yosemite.
It’s outside the park.. so you do have to go through the park gates, which can be a long wait (up to an hour during peak times)…

We (myself, husband and 12,15 & 18 yo kids) are on a 12 day tour of the west and Yosemite was the last stop before San Francisco. The house was perfect! The beds were very comfortable and the house had a much needed washing machine and dryer. The location to the park was excellent and the host clearly put in nice touches to make our stay perfect! We would definitely come back! Thanks!

Quaint Getaway in Fish Camp
We had a great weekend at this Vacasa property in Fish Camp. The home was warm, inviting, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed. It was clean and charming, with a cozy, homey feel that reminded us of a holiday cottage. Just a heads-up: the driveway and access to the house are up a very steep hill, so if you’re driving a large truck, you’ll need to use both of the provided parking spaces. The drive to Yosemite Valley takes about an hour and 20 minutes. Overall, it’s a a good choice for a getaway!
Our stay was great, enjoyed seeing the park. Half Done and El Capitan are un-describable. You have to see them to appreciate their beauty. There are many rock formations as well as the Sequoia, Cedar, Oak, Sugar Pine just to name a few that are a must see. The down side to our vacation was, upon arrival the cabin was 52 degrees, however when we tried to turn the heater on it would not come on. Granted we had arrived a few minutes early. Called the number on our reservation, was told they could get someone out to the cabin the next day. That was not the answer we expected, finally as I was cancelling the reservations the heater came on, we stayed and the rest of our time there went very well. I did feel the ad for the cabin was a touch miss leading, at first read I thought it had two complete baths, upon further checking into the information it does reveal 1 and 1/2 bath. Would certainly recommend the cabin with a couple if warnings. Very clean, well stocked, plenty of towels!

This cabin is minutes away from Yosemite which was exactly what we were looking for. It is remote and quiet as we were the only ones staying in the area.
The house was somewhat difficult to find when we drove up the drive and the driveway to the house is very steep.
Once in the cabin, there were minor cleanliness issues, but Vacasa offered to remedy immediately, however it could use a good, deep cleaning.
There were extra touches in the house such as coffee, snacks and dishes etc. We stopped in Oakhurst to purchase grocery items and very glad that we did as it allowed us the ability to survive after getting snowed in. Once the road was covered in snow, we had to start digging our way out because the snowplow does not come up the drive. That was the least favorite part of our trip. However, property management sent someone up on the 3rd day. During that time, we did not lose power and we were very warm and cozy. It was a very relaxing few days.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again for that quiet, remote atmosphere so close to Yosemite.

Thank you for your valuable feedback, Melissa! We are pleased to read that you enjoyed the location of the home and apologize for the issues experienced with finding the home and cleanliness. We thank you for promptly contacting us regarding these issues. Since your stay, the home has been deep cleaned to assure that we are providing our guests with a comfortable experience. Furthermore, we apologize for the issues experienced with the driveway. We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer! My two toddlers loved the loft area. Everything has been well thought out. Thank you for having kids dinnerware and cups! We have recommended this cabin to all of our friends and hope we can stay again sometime in the future. We got "The Mammoth" meal from Smokehouse 41 and ate it on the porch. It was our favorite meal of our trip! The complimentary snacks and drinks were very much appreciated. The area was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and looking for bears.

Cute cabin near Yosemite
This cute cabin suited our needs perfectly! So close to the park entrance and in a quiet neighborhood. A little tricky to get there, but once you are there, you will feel right at home. The cabin was well appointed and very clean. Everything was thought out by the owners and that made our stay comfortable and relaxing.
The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked and my teenagers loved the loft! Even better in person. Mattresses very comfy. The property is secluded yet safe.

A wonderful cabin experience
The cabin is beautiful and very close to Yosemite's south entrance. My family loved the location, halfway-ish between the valley and Oakhurst which allowed us to spend our day in the valley and our nights ordering food from Oakhurst.

Perfect Winter Getaway!
The cabin is fantastic. Comfortable bed, games for the kids, great loft are to chill out which also heats up quickly when you get in. Location-wise, being so close to goat meadow snoplay was a great, we could nip up for an hour and back. Badger pass ski resort is close as well. We had a great weekend (and the beds are super comfi),

well appointed, super clean family cabin
The location of this cabin can't be beat if you are looking to visit Yosemite and the surrounding area. It's cute and well-stocked with detailed touches that make you feel at home. The downside is that it was quite cold in the cabin during our winter stay. There was not a usable fireplace. Guests should note there is a steep and narrow drive as well. We'd stay again in Spring-Fall.
