Situated on over 5 acres, this darling 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath farmhouse was once a barn! This spacious home has an open floor plan and boasts almost 2000 square feet. Enjoy all the modern conveniences you need while feeling like you are a million miles away from the city. Both bedrooms have their own private adjoining bathrooms. Full kitchen with all the amenities, including stainless steel appliances and an island with a second sink. Smart TVs/Wifi provided and the living room sofa pulls out into a queen size bed for additional sleeping space. Take in beautiful sunsets with full mountain views from the west side of the house and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living (and you just may hear the sounds of neighboring horses neighing and goats bleating!). Just minutes to E470 (toll road), restaurants, shopping and retail; 30 minutes to Denver International Airport and downtown Denver; less than an hour to Colorado Springs and just over an hour to the nearest ski resorts. This was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had, and we have rented many. The property is in a wonderfully quiet area, in the morning the meadowlark’s are singing away and the view is fantastic. The house and furnishings are beautiful, and everything is very clean. Beds are comfortable and nothing was overly scented like some rentals are. Good communication from host. We hope we can stay again on our next trip

The home was easy to find with the directions we were given. Upon entering the home everything was very clean and all the furnishings in the home are very nice. It has beautiful views out the back to set in the evening and in the morning to have your coffee in which I enjoyed every morning. It is very peaceful to look at the mountains and see the horses and listen to the chickens. If we are able to go back to Colorado I definitely would like to stay here again. It is in a great location!

Shannon's home was fantastic, a great home away from home. This is actually my hometown so I know the area well, and it's in a perfect location! The home was clean and a really great layout for our family. It's super close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but is in a very quiet, peaceful location. Shannon was very responsive via text and the home instructions were clear. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Farmhouse

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. We were sightseeing from Ohio. The Farmhouse was a great base for all we wanted to see and do. It was stocked well with everything needed. And had beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing! This house has everything you can think of and more! We were in from out of state for a 3-day wedding celebration. The house was perfect for our family of 4. tons of space...pics do not do that justice...and lots of storage. The primary bedroom is huge & so is the walk-in closet. All the amenities we needed plus spectacular views of the mountains! A little cold for us to enjoy the porch, but we hope to next time we visit,

Perfect getaway!!

What’s perfect place to get away from the city, the views are spectacular! What a perfect place, fantastic kitchen and bedrooms are spacious and cozy! We will definitely make it a point to stay here when we are back in town. The owners were fantastic and very communicative. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I finally settled back in Colorado after being gone for almost 22 years. Our love of the outdoors and being closer to family have made this transition very easy. We've raised five amazing children and are now enjoying the next phase of our life here!

Why they chose this property

We live on the property and have had so much fun getting our "guest house" ready to share with those traveling to the area. You will find a tropical theme in the larger bedroom as we spent many years living in Hawaii. We couldn't resist sharing a little bit of that Aloha with our guests. There is a corral right next to the home that once housed horses and llamas. Beautiful blue skies most days of the year, clean crisp air and a quiet neighborhood - this is truly a special place!
