I had a perfect stay at this location. The owner was sociable and very attentive to my concerns when they arose. Communication with the owner was easy and effective. Housekeeping was an additional fee but well worth it as she was excellent and extremely friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone interested in a clean, well maintained home away from home.

It was nice to stay with a pool in the back yard. Its not handicapped accessible. There were steps to get in and in the house. For me as an older person. Notified him that the dishwasher and garbage disposal did not work. I received no acknowledgement about it. Pool needed to be cleaned when i got there. Floor of it was slimmy. Thursday is the pool guys day to clean and check the chemicals. Also needs a good landscaper. Over all i made it as good as i could.

Why pick a home that has steps if you’re handicapped. Also a couple of leaves in the pool as documented in your photos does not make the pool dirty or in need of maintenance. As the wind blows and rain falls sediment can get stuck at the bottom and the vacuum will take care of that. The disposal does work just fine. I came in and had to reset it something was caught in it. The dishwasher is something that does need to be tended to. I reached out several times prior to your arrival I never got a response from you. Jerry wrote one guest. But had several over and partied throughout his weekend stay. 0 transparency would recommend other hosts stay away.

Vert nice house with pool.

The house was very clean and comfortable, with everything you need to enjoy your stay and prepare meals. The neighborhood was a great place to walk our dog in the evening. We enjoyed having our own pool, and the yard was nice and safe for pets. The pool area could use some new outdoor furniture, and we never did see the pool guy come to clean the pool. We had a great time and would rent this property again.

Everything was fantastic. The owners were fantastic and worked with me on everything. First, they found a way to help me with possibly checking in early. Second, they let me add a day onto the rental the day before it was supposed to end. Great experience with the house and would recommend this property to everyone. Plus they have a fish tank, which is awesome.

Host was very nice but the property is in need of much love. Furniture is very uncomfortable & the bathrooms need a good deal of work.. Couldn't use the bathroom in Master due to low water pressure. House is in a good location. Pool was nice but the lanai had many tears.

I rarely leave negative reviews and usually choose to say nothing instead, but unfortunately this experience warrants sharing. On the first morning of our four-night stay, we discovered there was no hot water, leaving us with cold showers. The towels were the worst I have ever encountered—every single one was threadbare and heavily stained. We initially assumed it was a one-off and searched for alternatives, but all available towels were in the same condition. There was also only one electrical outlet in the bedroom, located behind the bed. I had to pull the bed away from the wall to access it, only to find that half of the outlet did not work. This meant I had to choose between having the light on or charging my phone, but not both. I contacted the owner via text to explain the issues. His initial response was simply, “leave,” which was shocking. After I sent a photo of one of the towels, he acknowledged they were unacceptable and said he would bring replacements. The following day when I called about the lack of hot water, he stated he could not ask his plumber to come out over the holidays and again told us we should find other accommodation. This was New Year’s Eve, with no realistic option to find alternative accommodation at such short notice. As two women traveling alone, we felt increasingly uncomfortable dealing with an angry and dismissive owner. He also expected us to wait in for the plumber or leave the house unlocked for him. Overall a unpleasant experience.

Towels were a mess I agree. I contacted the cleaner and let them know this was unacceptable. The following morning I replaced with 6 brand new towels and hand towels. Complaints about the shower temperature were new to me, I had guests just before them same day check out and check in and I didn’t hear anything of the matter.. I went and tweaked the water temperature to make it piping hot. Safety’s were in place to keep guests from potentially burning themselves. I stated if property was inadequate I would happily reimburse a full refund. My guests satisfaction is the highest priority. The guest booked the night prior to arrival and stated they couldn’t find another property in the short amount of time. I did not have a spare key to the property without going to the office to grab them that was an honest mistake. I was there in a timely manner to enter property and exit with video evidence to provide guests with a remedy to the hot water problem. We do our best to provide guests with a satisfactory experience. I’m disappointed that we couldn’t give our guests that on this stay. Will continue to work to be better and maintain our standard.

Spring Break w/ Family

Had a great visit to the Clearwater area with my family. The location of the house was perfection and the pool was the highlight of each day. The water temperature was kept warm enough that my toddler and 9 month old were able to swim, too! The owners were very responsive to all of our needs and checked in to make sure we were happy. They also provided a pack n’ play so we did not have to travel with one. The house furniture is not kid friendly, but we knew that going into the trip, as the pictures of the property were accurate. We could have benefited from a few more items in the kitchen to prepare food but managed with what was provided. We spent our mornings visiting Dunedin and Safety Harbor, both a very short drive from this location, our afternoons were spent lounging poolside. We loved the outdoor couch area and used the sand chairs for dipping feet in the water! Another great feature was how well the washer and dryer worked! We now return home with many lasting memories. Thank you for hosting our family and being so attentive to our needs!

Clearwater Stay

I chose this property due to the fantastic communication with the host when looking for a place to rent. This was our first time using VRBO so their excellent communication sold us. The property fit our needs overall with the exception of the quality of the mattresses in 2 of the 3 rooms. Very squeaky and uncomfortable. The fish tank was a nice touch as I enjoyed listening to the water while I was working. There are some small things they should probably repair like the shelves in the master bathroom medicine cabinet and the electrical plug hanging out of the wall. Would rent again from them.

It was great to have all the essentials to make coffee and tea at the home when we arrived. The kitchen stocked with utensils, a blender, cooking utensils, pots and pans, spices, foil, trash bags as well as corkscrews and other kitchen gadgets was great. The supply of toilet paper, paper towels and bath toiletries was a nice surprise. The stocked linen closet with bath towels and pool towels, as well as sheets was welcome. (So many places only give you one set of each.) The dishwasher was good and having the pods was better. The washer and dryer worked well and the host supplied so many cleaning agents for them. This was appreciated. The drying rack for things that couldn’t go into the dryer was also a plus. There were plenty of blankets in the bedroom closets if they were needed. The aquarium was soothing

House is adequate, clean and tidy and in a centralized location. Everything supplied, utensils, plates, linens, etc. Washing machine on property and standard sized refrigerator and freezer. Microwave and range with oven… just like home. The street and neighborhood are very quiet. Morning walk, enjoyed the flowering Crepe Myrtle in full bloom. TV setup was strange to us, but I’m not up on current technology. Managed to catch some local news and weather forecast but if more choice is important, be sure to ask the owner prior to booking. I understand cable is hooked up for stays of a month or longer (we were there two weeks). Pool was a plus, (we did not need heating. It was very refreshing in summer). The screen enclosure is awaiting some attention. Owner responded quickly and was accommodating when I requested fragrance free (he removed the plug-ins prior to our arrival) though the towels and sheets had a hint of chemical fragrance – just bring your own linens if you have a sensitivity. Parking is off street and the ixoras, curving the driveway, were in peak bloom—a great visual welcome. Pet friendly and our well-behaved cat loved the open areas, lots of space. She was interested in the fish tank, but after studying them decided the fish were just a video... four fish when we arrived and four fish when we left.

We found the hosts to be very nice and attentive to issues. The house was conveniently located for us and nice in size. The pool was also nice. House well equipped. There were some issues that caused us to shorten our stay and select another property to finish our stay. 1st on our way to the house we were told the dishwasher was not working. We have a child that has food allergies so had planned on cooking. Host explained there were sewer issues so we said ok, inconvenient but we would make it through. 2nd once we got there we saw signs in bathrooms not to put any paper into toilets; small bags were present under sinks to place soiled tissue/toilet paper. Related to sewer issues. Ok so inconvenient again but we’d do it. 3rd when my wife saw live roaches inside house and in garage things started getting worse. Host said they had pest control but…. 4th the screens around the outside pool had holes in ceiling and around bottom. This allowed bugs into the swimming area at night. Imagine my surprise when day 2 my wife woke me up after taking pictures of large mice (rats?) playing in the enclosed swimming area and going under the small wooden back porch in the enclosed swimming area. 5th found evidence of potential bedbugs issues. With all the issues this was a very bad choice for us. We found another similarly priced place and finished our stay.

Just OK

Where do I start? The house is pretty much in the middle between Tampa airport and Clearwater beaches so it's about 20-25 min ride to both without traffic. There are all kinds of stores nearby. The house overall was clean but not clean enough. Both bathrooms had a bidet so that was nice. The property manager was very responsive but that doesn't mean accommodating. The negatives, the house is located 2 blocks from airport, so starting 7am there are single-engine planes taking off and landing every few minutes right over the house, very annoying. The house could use a “whole house” cleaning as the registers and return grills and ceiling fans had so much dust on them as if they weren’t cleaned in few years. There was a lot of dust under the beds in every bedroom as well. The bedroom on the next to garage has a horrible squeaking bed frame that even the kids it was waking them up when they turned over while sleeping. The water flow in the sink in one of the bathrooms was like a nosebleed. At night there was scurrying above the ceiling which woke me up almost every night, not sure if squirrels or mice. There were live bugs in the house as big as my index finger (looked like cockroaches) but not 100% sure. The “heated pool” is heated up to 83-85 in April, however when we got it the water was only about 72 which is great at 100 degree weather, but not when it’s 75-85 outside and he refused to heat it up. Overall, it was below our expectations and we will not be going back.
