What a cute apartment! Had a great stay on historic 25th. So close to shopping and restaurants, and a short drive to Snowbasin. Apartment was clean and bed was comfy!
Brandt was great to deal with. Very helpful with suggestions and directions. The property is spacious with comfortable beds. The apartment is up quite a few stairs. Once accessed, spacious inside. Well stocked kitchen. The apartment sits on a main street in Ogden, making it a bit noisy at night. Would recommend new sound proof windows.. but thats a big investment for the location. Restaurant recommendations were great..All in all well worth the drive daily to Snowbasin to ski.
Elegant and comfortable apartment at great location
My husband and I spent a wonderful week in mid December at this spacious and impeccably kept apartment in central Ogden. The building is at the corner of historical 25th Street and Wall Avenue, steps from great restaurants and fun stores. It is also very convenient for skiing at Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy classy historical Ogden and its surroundings!
My brother and I stayed here for a ski trip at Snowbasin. The unit is well-appointed and clean. Really no complaints. Brant is super responsive. We encountered a minor issue upon checking in that was addressed and resolved with 30 minutes. There’s a coffee shop around the corner, Grounds for Coffee, that we went to every morning (the breakfast croissants are amazing). I slept well, but you do need to have a white noise app on your phone; the unit backs up to a main road with plenty of overnight traffic. I would stay here again!
This property was even better than we expected. Location was perfect, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend it to anyone and can’t wait to return. Thank you!
Excellent home base for skiing at both Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. 25th street is charming with plenty of dining options, etc. The Ski Bus pickup is only a block and a half away too. Fabulous apartment with all the amenities and the Steam shower is awesome after a long day of skiing. We would definitely stay there again!
Wonderful, fun accomodations. Was as described. Conveniently located on historic 25th street, everything one would need to entertain themselves is right outside the door. The mountain views are incredible and our host was a pleasure to communicate with and even allowed us to checkin early. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for an interesting, upscale place to stay in Ogden.
This loft apartment was perfect for our needs! We celebrated my sons wedding at Union Station and used this loft to rest in between events. It’s beautiful & spacious! Absolutely perfect!
I stayed in the apartment for a three day ski trip with my teenage son and a friend. Lots of great eating places are within a block or two. TVs configured for streaming services. The kitchen was fully appointed and convenient for dinner and breakfasts. A 25m drive to Snowbasin Resort.
I can’t say enough of good things about this property, in town, great restaurants, close to hiking trails, abundance of local shops and just the cutest!!
My family came in town for THANKSGIVING for my daughter at the U. I cooked an entire THANKSGIVING meal in this VRBO, the kitchen was stocked. The owners have thought of everything!!
Thank you for making our THANKSGIVING care free.
This property was the best stay we have ever had! We have two young children who still nap and go to bed early so properties like this are a must when traveling. The apartment itself was soooo pretty with large windows and natural light, every amenity, and TWO king sized beds! The host accommodated a request from us and made us a home-cooked lemon loaf which we ate all of. We walked almost everywhere we needed to go and had beautiful views of the mountains. Our 3 year-old is still talking about the 'holiday house' and we can only hope to stay here again.
I cannot get over that this gem is hidden on one of the main streets in the city. The cleanliness, communication, and little details were absolutely amazing. When we arrived, there was a bottle of wine, and a lemon loaf left for us. I was absolutely not expecting little details like this, but I was absolutely wowed as soon as I arrived. I did have a question, and was answered promptly and clearly, which I was so appreciative of. I will absolutely be coming back to this location, and have already been telling anyone about it that I can. Absolutely perfect!!!!
We loved this apartment and the Snowbasin resort so much we came back for a full week. I work in SLC, had a really hard week, and my family's flight was cancelled...I walked in to the Loft Apartment completely exhausted and frustrated. But then breathed a huge sigh of relief. It felt like home- exactly like I remembered. And the owners did us a HUGE favor in helping me with our luggage, which ended up being so much more helpful than I ever thought since my family was 2 days delayed. My mood was changed for the better almost immediately. The apartment was clean, and the one issue I found last time (clogged drain) had been fixed. The proximity to restaurants just can't be beat. When my family finally arrived they were so happy to be there in the same place and we all could settle into our ski routine so much quicker. One thing I didn't mention previously is the amazing steam shower-- exactly what we needed after a stressful day at work or a hard day skiing/snowboarding.
Deb is fantastic and I truly thank her for making this our home away from home once again! The perfect place to spend a week, and we'll do it again.
We went to Ogden to hit Snowbasin to ski with the family. I've never been to Utah, my wife has, and we both had a fantastic time. The condo is really cool. It's in a mix-use building and has a neat industrial vibe... in a good way! It's a stone's throw away from a lot of cool things - breakfast spot 3 doors down that we hit up every morning, coldstone cremery just a 1/2 block down, plenty of bars (didn't really do this because we had the kids), and restaurants. There's even a train museum across the street that we went and checked out.
As for the place itself, it's well updated - appliances are new, furniture is current and not worn down, the beds were comfortable, there was coffee stocked, any kitchen stuff we'd need, and the owner had us stocked with coffee, a bottle of wine, and an amazing lemon cake waiting for us when we arrived! One cool feature that we didn't realize was there when we booked, the shower is also a steam room. We figured we'd give it a go and it was REALLY relaxing. A nice thing I would have ever looked for in a property... but it was a cool touch.
The instructions for getting in and out were straightforward. It was a little bit of a drive to the mountain but the trade-off for being close to nighttime activities was worth it.
The only downsides (and these were minor in the scheme of things)
- you're on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator so you'll have to lug things up and down. I don't mind. The exercise was good for me :). Just be aware if you're physically challenged.
- It's an old historic building so I'm sure replacing and updating windows isn't trivial. A big storm came through and the drafts in the windows had the curtains moving! They're also single pane so you get a lot of noise from the street. Fortunately, it calms down at night. Didn't bother me... it's like living in any city setting.
We had an absolutely great vacation and a big part was renting this place. Highly recommend this VRBO and we'll stay here again should we make it back.
