My wife dog and I enjoyed our stay. The views from this cabin were incredible! Everything supplied at the cabin was great! We appreciated being able to take our dog with us on this vacation. We hope to stay there again!
I know in previous comments people said something about the roads being sketchy. They really aren’t I have stayed at many cabins and considering the location of the cabin to give you those amazing views it was nothing. As long as you have your gps on to navigate at night especially your great cuz the signs can be confusing. Lincoln was amazing to work with and the cabin was the cleanest cabin I have been in in a while and I have my own cleaning business. The homing feel of the home was great the porch was the best part to me to sit out and enjoy my coffee in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this cabin.
This was our first time visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge as a family, the view we got from the cabin was amazing. It was nice walking our dog up the secluded road every morning and see the sunrise.
I visited with my adult son for his birthday. The setup was perfect, kitchen well stocked and accommodations cozy.
As other reviewers have mentioned, be prepared for windy access roads and a steep driveway. We had no issues, but just a heads up.
The views from the property were wonderful. The area was very peaceful and quiet. There are lots of windows to enjoy the view. The ones upstairs need a good cleaning. The cabin was just the right size for the 3 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots pans, but several had food on them. The hot tub was nice and having a grill with gas made cooking easy. Overall the cabin was great, but needs a deep cleaning. Bring what you need with you so you don’t have to venture back out.
We loved our stay at Bear Paw hideaway! This cabin is incredible and the view is breathtaking! We always travel with our dog and was so happy this place is pet friendly. This has been by far our vacation house and would love to come back again. Thank you for hosting us!
We had a great stay. The location was perfect and check-in was so easy. The views were amazing and the cabin had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies- pots, pans, utensils, appliances. The wrap around deck was perfect, the bed was comfy, water pressure great and we would definitely come back.
What a wonderful place to stay. Had great mountain view with the sunset 🌅 Was very clean, well-equipped and very private. We had a visitor one morning and another one evening. It is definitely an experience like no other to see Bears in their natural habitat and even just strolling down the road 💕.
Convenient to Townsend, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Excellent communication from host as well.
Bear Paw was more than expected
The location, views and overall accommodations exceeded our expectations. The home is very well appointed and every you need is there.
Lincoln was so easy to work with and accommodating with our dates. But, I gotta tell you, the views...amazing.
Cabin was as listed. Very beautiful, very clean. Owner had quick response to email prior to arrival. Very beautiful view. Just be prepared the drive up is a doozy but beautiful. Recommended highly.
This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The views were beautiful and location was superb…close to all the action, but far enough away that you felt like you could escape from it all. Beds were comfy and it was so nice to have two king sized beds. Kids loved the pool table. We all enjoyed just hanging on the deck and even saw 7 bears from that deck while we were there! The host, Lincoln, was fantastic. In all of my VRBO rental experiences, I’ve never experienced someone who responded so quickly. We had an issue with the AC and he responded right away and got it fixed as quickly as possible. He helped with recommendations in the area and ensuring we were all set. We hope to be back!
The cabin was clean and comfortable. Views amazing and for week or weekend renters it’s got every thing you might need . Bears on deck at 2am . Momma and 2 cubs and they weee not frightened by us banging and screaming against the windows wher they sat looking in 😳. Thst was exciting and not our first reodo with this …. All I will say is the guest before us were nasty . Nasty leaving no less than 15 piles of poo we had to clean up before we could let our dogs out within a foot of the driveway grass area . The steps going up are a bit to tackle with the uneven stone so we found walking the yard up by the stone steps more helpful at our age and again their was lots of poo to clean up just for us to walk as well. Nasty people shouldn’t have the right to stay in these lovely places They ruin it ! We had reservations for 27 days and had brooms and vscim with very nice washer dryer to make it easier. We were offered a complimentary cleaning by our host which was appreciated but it was just me and hubby and our doxies dog and we kinda cleaned up after us as we went . Lovely place just wish nasty people would take responsibility of the dog poo and don’t leave it for the next guest 😤
We had a two plus week stay At BearPaws hideaway . Just me the hubby and our doxies . It was a very clean except as alway the previous guest had put up nasty pots and pan with oil still on them . If you like to cook in a lot as we do you might want to bring a few mixing bowls . Also bring extra containers for storage of left overs…. I think it would be nice and I did suggest to host they get a few microwaveable dishes as the stoneware is not a good option for warming , it gets way to hot ! I also suggested to get shower/bath mats . There is no where in the bathroom to sit any thing you bring , well to speak of that is And no where to hang your wash cloth as there is one little wood post peg on a the tiny shelf and the hand towel is hung there . We made do as I found a few nails above the toilet and I used it to hang my wash cloth . No room for hubby’s stuff . I don’t think many people stay as long as we do and therefore maybe don’t bring as much so it would possibly be just fine for others . I used one of our plastic tub containers we brought our stuff in to sit beside sink as a small table to lay my lotions , brushes and Makeup products.
This home has the best view, it was relaxing and had the bear visit most every day around 4-6 o’clock. The comfort level was a 10 outta 10 and I can’t speak highly enough of the Host . He was very attentive and appreciated my input . It was a easy check-in and we can’t wait to return next year . Thankyou Lincoln !
Clean, comfy cabin. Well stocked and well appointed. Host was amazing - very communicative, gracious, and helpful. The drive up the mountain is a beast but worth the beautiful view. 5/5!
We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, location and process. We had some unfortunate natural disaster (Indigo Lane/ Hatcher Mtn Wildfire) hit during our third day of stay. Lincoln was fantastic to work with keeping us up to date on fire locations, cabin status, etc. the best he could do. He went above and attempted to contact others in area in hopes of trying to rescue our dog that was unfortunately stuck in the house during evacuations. Thankfully everything ended up being fine, cabin was safe, dog was safe and we were able to access our belongings after a few days. Lincoln helped in more ways then he could as most vacationers were getting zero response from their owners. The cabin is in a great location, great views. Kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We appreciated the stay and know as a cabin owner everything was completely out of his hands and he worked it the best way possible.
