Great vibes!

We had a fabulous week here. The house was so roomy but also felt very cozy! We had quiet mornings sipping coffee by the lake and cooled off by jumping in in the afternoons. We’ll be back!

This was a quick family get-away for Father's day fishing. The house is comfy and roomy, clean, very well stocked with household items. The area was quiet and felt safe with easy access to retail and restaurants. We definitely have been looking for a house like this for our whole family (2yrs-55yrs). We will definitely be coming back.

Let’s be clear, I brought my boat, food, and drinks with the intention of not leaving the property except by boat. My expectations were met. Had my choice of grocery stores coming into town. There is an ice hut just off the highway on the way to the property near one of the grocery stores coming from Houston. Full kitchen stocked with all the needed cookware, dinnerware, and glassware to serve a dozen easily for cocktails and dinner. Nice fire pit, bring your own wood… pinion to help with mosquitos but hey guys it is a lake property. Decent dock for a up to a 22’-24’ pontoon… I had a 21’ bass boat and suggest a 4 standard dock lines. Bring your 50’ extension cord if you plan on charging boats batteries. Private concrete ramp had a great launch pitch with ample length at 2’ shy of full pool. Very comfortable inside with ample room to break off into smaller groups without sitting on top of one another. Bring your charcoal and grilling / smoking for a medium size offset smoker. On septic and well with ice not having an odor which made for a decent cocktail. If you plan to fry the bring a can for spent oil. A/C and fans made things very comfortable. If you have a favorite blanket and pillow bring it because the couches will suck you down for a good nap. 5-8 minute boat ride to minnows, boat gas, or burger. Coms with the host were solid with day 1 questions quickly answered. I’ll do it again…If you are not familiar with Lake Conroe then invest in one of the boat lane map chips.

Wonderful Rental

This property was perfect for our family which ranged in ages from 5 months to 84! The yard is an easy walk to the dock and the hand rail and stairs make it possible for everyone to get water access. We enjoyed the beautiful view while the family did lots of swimming, fishing, and tubing in our boat.

Wonderful getaway

Location rooms small and there is only 2 official rooms but, the house is very clean and wide open concept. The house is perfect for entertainment. So much spacw inside and outside. And the dock is perfect for fishing or swimming. We all loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

What a relaxing getaway! The lake was beautiful and it was a panoramic view. The accommodations were great and everyone had a wonderful time! The pictures online do not do this place justice. It’s so spacious and beautiful inside and out. So much to see with JetSki years and boats in many kinds of birds. If you love legs in the outdoors, it’s a nice reasonably priced getaway.

Great home, but dock needs to be fixed

We loved this home and location. It's open and updated with plenty of room and a beautiful view. Having the boat launch on the property was wonderful. I took away a star because the dock is falling apart. The listing pictures are when it was still in tact. We were not able to moor the boat properly because that part of the dock is collapsed. Also, one evening we were fishing and my husband stepped on what ended up being rotted wood and part of the wood broke under his foot and fell into the water below. Kind of dangerous. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the home! Our deepest apologies for the pier conditions. I advised all summer rentals of the unfortuate, I apologize for missing yours. That happened in the storms that came thru Willis beginning of June and uprooted trees and tornado damage without power for 4 days. The listing pictures are of just the previous year. It has already been quoted for repairs. We marked off areas in the interm. It will be closed this fall to remodel so we hope you will come experience it again! Edit: The new pier was just completed Oct 23! It is new with much larger area, boat dock and seating. We hope you will view the updated photos and come stay with us again!

Well appointed, lots of space, and even more wildlife!

My mom has been having a lot of health issues and decided she wanted to do something positive and booking a lakehouse near her for an all girl's slumber party was perfect. Our attendees were from all over, Willis, Kingwood, Houston, Austin, and even Denver! Immediately upon entering I was impressed with the size of the communal space and the expense of windows with a lake view. How well appointed the space was, was equally impressive.The hosts didn't miss a single detail, even leaving sample sizes of medicines and feminine products in the bathrooms for their guests. We cooked and made homemade ice cream while we were there and we had everything we needed. The lighting at the property is also very intentional and well thought out. Indoors and out, there isn't anything that feels like an afterthought. We did ask the host ahead of time if the grill was gas or charcoal and it is charcoal, so we brought our own gas grill which was fine. During our visit, it was cold and rainy, which was a bit of a bummer, but, even so, we had fun playing games and chatting in the house with the lake as our view. We were extremely surprised by all the wildlife we saw while we were there! Cranes, storks, a ton of ducks and pelicans, a bald eagle, and even an otter two different times! This alone kept us entertained in spite of the weather! I think the value of the property is very good considering how many people it can sleep. That said, our stay was during the off season.
