Lake Conroe - Kayak, Paddle Boards, Fishing, Pool Table, Pet Friendly!

Welcome to “Sunset Haus”!

Come stay at our wonderfully renovated home right on Lake Conroe! With convenient lakefront access just a step away and a large boat dock, bring your boat or jet ski and have a blast! Feel free to use our water mat, kayak, and paddle boards during your stay, to get the most out of your lake experience! Swimming in the open water right off our dock is convenient and easy. Rack ‘em up and shoot some pool while taking in views of the lake. We have TONS of seating for all of our guests, including room for 10 on our couch and at our dining table! Watch movies at night or your favorite sports team on our 65” 4K television, and we even have a Netflix account setup and ready for you to enjoy!

We provide bath towels and linens for all beds, as well as a some laundry pods, dishwasher pods, coffee k-cups, toilet paper, and paper towels. (Enough to last 2-3 days). We also have a fully furnished kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, glasses, appliances). The entire home is accessible to our guests via contactless entry.

We are always just a text or call away! We are easily accessible through VRBO but we also provide our guests with our personal contact information. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions during your stay.

Come stay with us, soak up the sun, and get away from the busy world for a while. We’d love to host you at our home on the lake!

We are a dog friendly home, so please feel free to bring a furry friend along! We allow 1 dog, weighing 50lb or less. We do have a pet fee of $75 (per dog) so please add the pet to your reservation and the fee will automatically be added as well.

If there are certain items we might be able to get for you ahead of time to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know and we will do our best! We try to respond very quickly and will answer any questions you might have.

We do require our guests to sign a rental agreement, which we will send for electronic signature after booking. However, a draft agreement is attached to this listing for review before booking.

Disclosures: We do have two security cameras located on the outside of the home - one on the front porch and one on the back porch. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home.

The garage and boat slips are not part of this listing and access is not permitted. However, there is plenty of room to dock your boat during your stay.

This house was spotless! Very well stocked in the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect to bring your boat and they have a kayak and paddle boards if you’re adventurous. The dog enjoyed the house too. (Just wish it had a fence). We enjoyed playing pool and the dining table is big enough for a crowd. There were toys and puzzles for the kids too. We’ll be back

Absolutely wonderful! The house had plenty of space. The dock, paddle boards, and seating were perfect. All the amenities (coffee makers, TVs, pillows, pots and pans) were plentiful. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning, listening to the water and watching the ducks. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and very near to so many restaurants and H-E-B. We had two very minor issues and the response to resolving them took no time at all which was greatly appreciated. Overall, we loved the time together as a family and would definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back!

This home was perfect for my family to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday! The house was clean and spacious, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and the home was the perfect location right on the lake! We fished, paddle boarded, swam, played games, and grilled. Definitely recommend!

Great place to stay directly on Lake Conroe. Convient to a public boat launch and nearby store for gas, ice, and snacks. It was great to have a room for a the adults as well as the 6 bed bunk room. Nice boathouse to anchor the boat to and let the kids swim. If you have a large family, this place will meet your needs. Defintely will stay here again with the whole family.

Amazing lake getaway...

This was the perfect lakefront property for an extended weekend vacation with family and friends. Plenty of room for guests, a well-appointed kitchen, large dining area for the group, and a great outdoor area to enjoy the lake with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The kayaks in stand-up paddle boards were a great way to get on the water along with a large covered dock perfect for fishing and swimming in a quiet cove.

Absolutely perfect

Family and i stayed for my wedding then it was just me and my husband for after. We all loved it and talked about coming back in the summer. I left a fishing pole so hopefully anyone who stays here in the future will be able to use it there. Cant wait to come back!

Why they chose this property

Being from Houston, we often visited Lake Conroe growing up, whether it was for fishing, boating, watersports, or anything else. We knew that if we ever had the chance to own a home on the lake, that it would also be a great experience for our kids as well!

What makes this property unique

Our home is thoughtfully decorated and furnished to provide a relaxing atmosphere for you to unwind and relax! The water is only steps away for a quick swim, or to cast a line in the water. We have a large boat dock, big enough to dock several boats to! We have free high-speed wifi and free Netflix included with your stay and we provide everything from towels to soaps and shampoo!
