Step inside, and the tall ceilings, knotty pine accents, and massive stone fireplace complete the lodge aesthetic that never disappoints. Fueling up for a full day of adventure will be a breeze with the fully equipped kitchen featuring all of the major appliances and plenty of room to prep ingredients. After heading into town or making the most of the clear water of Lake Michigan, the screened back deck will be just the place to sip on a favorite beverage and reminisce with loved ones as the sun goes down. Plus, the free WiFi will allow you to stream favorite movies each night by the warmth of the fire until everyone dozes off to sweet dreams of more fun ahead!

This home is 1 of approximately 30 log cabins in a quiet wooded setting. Cabin has ample room. Community pool is walking distance and relaxing. Overpriced for 4 night stay but overall it was great for a family vacation.

Nice house

House was everything it said. Beautiful fireplace..They leave one bundle; f firewood gives number to call for more. We called twice never an answer. Chairs at table very uncomfortable especially when sitting playing games. Would stay again. Nice area.

Comfy and cozy

Great place to stay. Very clean. We loved the fireplace. The only problem we had was the ice maker wasn't working. When I reported it, I was told maintenance would come to repair it. No one showed up. Other than that, it was great.

Nice place but amenities have changed

Property is clean. Large space. We have stayed at kingfisher cove several times. It use to be where they would have wood for us for the fireplace and communication was with a human. They now use AI for communication and they no longer leave wood. The ice maker doesn’t work- just a note. For the price and the distance from going to town etc we will be checking out other options for our next stay.

Perfectly Tucked away in Saugatuck

This cabin is beautiful and is convenient to both Holland and Saugatuck. It’s tucked away in a little lakeside neighborhood that’s peaceful and quiet. I gave it a 3 for cleanliness because the blinds were very dusty. My friend said the upstairs bedroom was dusty, too. Our big concern was getting onto the porch from the driveway. There’s only one step, but it’s pretty steep. We noticed several of the other cabins had two steps up to their porches. That would make the steps less steep. A handrail should really be installed. Steps without a rail is an accident waiting to happen.

Cute, clean, relaxing

The cabin was very clean and accommodating. Relaxing good time. I went with friends but would be a perfect fit for a family with young children. Soaker tub had a note that asked not to use because is was waiting for repairs. Ice maker did not work and there were no ice trays. It would have been nice to have been informed of these issue prior to booking. If a soaker tub is listed as an ammenity it should be operable for use and I would have known to bring ice. I reached out to the host and I was just given an apology. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. I would stay in this area again but maybe at the cabin next door that has an outdoor jacuzzi and firepit.

Thought it was going to be better

Based on other reviews, our expectations for this home were high and we were looking forward to it. The trip started off on a sour note. We tried to check in at our scheduled time: 4pm however, when we arrived at the property, the cleaner was there and told us “I need at least another hour to finish”. We had gone grocery shopping so needed to put our cold items in the fridge-no problem there. We were told we would get a text message when the house was complete and ready for our return. After over an hour of waiting, I texted the guest service number and they said the cleaners were done over a half hour ago. Communication was subpar. The home definitely needs some deep cleaning or replacement of items: the rug in the living room had giant stains, the couch and love seat also had stains, to the point where we put sheets over them and put towels on the rug. The stools at the counter had hair and debris caked on the bottom of the feet. The (2) queen rooms were fine, however, the room with the bunk bed and single bed didn’t have the beds completely made upon arrival. The front porch gliding bench was also broken. The house was a great size for 5 of us and it was close to downtown Saugatuck and holland. The pool area was nice but we didn’t receive a code to get in so it was good other people were in there to let us in. We hope the owners/property manager take our concerns into consideration and hopefully improve the home.
