My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and well stocked with what we needed. The host answered our questions promptly and kindly. We had a good experience. Thank you.
We had a great time in Saugatuk. We love the location of this property. It is close to Saugatuk and Holland. There is so much to do in the area. The cabin had enough room for everyone to spread out. We love the pool being close and the ice cream shop within walking distance. We did use the hot tub a couple times and that was nice. The one is problem we encountered was that the mattresses were very different from what we are used to. The one on the first floor was extremely soft(and a bit lumpy) and the one upstairs was extremely firm.Overall, it was a great week at the cabin.
We rented this VRBO for a long weekend with our best friends. The property was incredibly clean and everything worked as expected! We used the fireplace in the living room all weekend and it was fabulous. You do have to buy the wood but it was very close and reasonably priced.
Bathrooms and appliances were all very clean also.
The neighborhood was very quiet while we were there.
The host was very responsive to any questions we had.
We would definitely visit again and stay in this unit.
My family and I were excited to find a cabin at the last minute that was only a few minutes away from the Dunes National Park and to downtown Saugatuck. I’m especially thankful for our host, Erin, for responding right away to my booking request and for her quick response in getting all of the paperwork taken care of on such short notice.
Everything was nice and cozy, and my family felt right at home. The hot tub was a big plus. I wish we could have had more time to stay longer, but maybe we’ll plan another trip someday.
The house was as stated. Communication was wonderful! The house was clean inside. The outside porch and screened in porch areas to sit were not cleaned prior to arrival. The jacuzzi top was hard to handle and waterlogged.
Also the A/C didn’t work for us and the closet doors fell off the tracks. The one fan in the house fell apart when we went to use it upstairs. FYI :)
We really enjoyed our stay! Clean , very well maintained and fully equipped house ! Received all my instructions in advance, thanks! Looking forward to come back!
Clean and spacious, perfect log cabin! My family had a wonderful time, we can’t wait to go back in the summer to take advantage of all of the wonderful outdoor amenities. Erin was easy to work with and had great communication throughout the entire process. The cabin has everything a family needs to feel right at home.
Had a great time at the knotty pines cabin. Great layout, enjoyed cooking
in the nice kitchen and using the hot tub and fireplace. Very relaxing. My only complaints would be that the area around the hot tub needed to be cleaned up and there could have been better lighting in living room (one lamp was held together with tape). Overall nice place.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Was cozy & comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen.
A few minor things that need improvement. The master bedroom bed is super uncomfortable and the blinds are broke so it doesn’t close all the way.
Very nice place to stay. Some of the light fixtures seemed a bit old and one like was basically hanging from electrical tape. We just didn't use that one and everything was great. Lots of board games if you didn't bring any.
We booked Knotty Pines for a fall weekend getaway. It was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for our family of four. It was hard not to feel like a real vacation with all the wood cabin interior. Even though we knew the location was a bit out of town, it didn't matter as we were spending time visiting places outside of the main part of Saugatuck. Plus, the wonderful interior and extra space was a nice tradeoff.

Very nice and comfy cabin. Great location. Close to downtown, restaurants and shopping. Great time!
Multi generational family, young kids enjoyed the loft with toys provided. Loved the location and the pool was fantastic as well as the hot tub. Went to the beach and it was thoughtful that the owners had beach towels and toys provided!
There were several shortfalls.
Beds were very firm and uncomfortable. Thank goodness we brought our own pillows as the ones provided were about an inch thick. Kitchen, while stocked, included chipped plates, skillets that had gouges in them, and a note stating to be very careful when microwaving as plates got hotter than the food. The hot tub would have been nice to use since we had rainy, indoor weather, but the water was cloudy and clearly needed attention. The furniture was more than well worn, it looked ok, but was beyond its useful life. Both front & back screen doors were broken, so we couldn’t sit out on the back porch, and the main bedroom blinds were missing a panel so we had to strategically center them so that we weren’t “on display”. About the only thing it had going for it was the size and a good hot water heater. Suffice it to say, we won’t be back.
