A former trailer turned small home, where coziness and rustic comes together, with touches of lux. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or simply enjoying quiet moments inside, this awesome spot offers a welcoming vibe. Easy access from the highway but a short walk into the wilderness. Hike up the mountain or relax watching smart TV. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays. The blackout curtains in the bedroom are just perfect for a good night’s sleep. Free WiFi, an iron, hair dryer, and a washer/ dryer set. Very close to wedding venues: Twenty Mile House (.8 mile, 2 min drive) and Kinship Ranch (.4 mile, 1 min drive).

Verizon service is full bars. You will have to depend on Wi-Fi calling feature of your phone with other carriers. Please don’t rely on the distances stated in this listing (platform’s AI is wrong and they won’t fix it), do your own research or message me.

We are on well water with great mineral content so no need to buy bottled water. Please use mini-split for main heat and cooling of the house. Propane stove is for emergency use only. If you bring other people/pets that are not on reservation to stay with you, you will have to pay additional charges, starting at $100.

Turn off lights, turn off A/C in the summer and lower heaters in the winter. Minisplit should be at 68F and the wall heaters at 17C.

Lock the door and place keys inside the lock box. Message host when you leave.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please no shoes inside and please wear shoes outside. The mountain dirt will get everywhere- on rugs, furniture and bedding. Your deposit is at stake

Clean but more remote than listed

House is NOT 2 minutes from Graeagle Meadows as advertised, more like 20-25 minutes. We were much further away from our friends than we had planned to be. House is very clean and generally comfortable with a super private location; but lacks some basics like hot pads/oven mitts, wine opener, and barbecue as advertised.

I do not advertise any listings being any distance from anything, I just input the address. It must be something automatic that platform does, they use some sort of AI which misled you. I didn’t see that in my listing and if I did, I would flag it or warm about it in the description. I know Graeagle about 8 miles from property but I don’t know about Graeagle Meadows. Normally guests will ask how much distance is from whatever point and provide address and I put in Google and provide what Google says. Location is also marked on the map when you’re trying to book, that how I plan my stays based on that map. Regarding hot pads, etc. every listing is set up to have things like that but if they disappear, it’s hard for cleaners to know and to report to me so that I can replace the items. 3 star is unfair for these reasons. You should understand that much.
