From the moment we arrived , Myself, hubby, and my parents, Martine made us feel super welcome. She showed us around the property which was even nicer than the photos in the listing. On the first day we realised there was no bread knife, Martine came by to check if everything was ok, and we mentioned the bread knife and an hour or so later she returned with one for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a brand new oven, hob and fridge freezer. The Internet was fabulous and fast, lovely large flat screen tv ( for watching the World Cup on ; ) The house is a lovely large traditional old stone house, with a few charming little quirks and a lot of new renovations. We all fell in love with the house and gardens and found it extremely comfortable. The Beds were very very comfortable, with good quality bedding. We all slept very well the whole stay. The mature garden is beautifully rustic, charming, safe and fully enclosed, with the fabulous and very welcoming pool taking centre stage along with 6 sun loungers. Some of the mature trees offer shade on one side of the pool whilst the other side is open to sun all day long. There is also a BBQ area with table and chairs ( although we didn’t use these ourselves as it was just too hot ) I cant praise Martine and her lovely property enough. We all had a thoroughly marvellous time and cant wait to return next year. Also Cadouin itself is great, a very beautiful peaceful village.
