Great Villa

Really enjoyed our stay. Are was lovely with everything you need locally and close many key towns, Bergerac for e.g. the owners were very responsive to any questions or needs and the local host, Robin was great, easily contactable and very helpful. Even accommodated us on a Sunday arrival which was not an available check in day. Thanks

Lovely house in peaceful location

We enjoyed a 5 night break at the gorgeous house which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was a god send seeing as we were there during a heatwave - temps reaching 39 degrees! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Many thanks and we would love to come back again on another visit to the Dordogne. Thank you 😊

Beautiful Urval

Overall a great week was enjoyed by all. Would recommend stronger / better quality fans for the bedrooms plus an overhead fan for the outside seating area as it was very hot both during the day and at night. Light cotton bed sheets instead of duvets would have been more suitable. A book providing information on places to visit / what's on, restaurants, markets etc would be a good addition.

Arriving in a massive heatwave caused more issues that it would normally have done, I'm sure. The villa is in a quiet area, surrounded by a few other properties (very minimal noise) and countryside. There isn't anything in the village so you will need a car to get anywhere - we knew this so that was ok. There wasn't any check in process as such, we just arrived and let ourselves in, There was no welcome booklet of information which would have been a good idea, just so we could read about the local area, where to find amenities etc. People we did see were very friendly and helpful.It was big enough for us - 2 adults & 2 18 year olds. The kitchen was tiny and quite difficult to prepare 2 weeks of easy meals - but it was well equipped with everything you'd need inc dishwasher.There is no air con and 1 fan divided between 3 bedrooms. I'd have preferred for us ALL to have fans or no fans at all to prevent arguments. We went and spent 75 euro on two more highly ineffective fans. I had to sleep on the uncomfy sofa for most of the 2nd week as it was too hot in the bedroom with two of us inThe downstairs bedroom has no airflow and you can't leave the door open as you are visited by local wildlife and cats in the middle of the night so my son was sweltering. The leak into his bedroom was looked at but persisted anyway. The pool is lovely though we couldn't use it til evening as there was no shade. The parasol provided wasn't enough for 4 of us to sit under it all together.

Het huis en zwembad zijn heel goed MAAR… wel geluidsoverlast van nabij (70 m) gelegen ‘jongeren/groeps-accomodatie’ waar tot 45 p zaten met harde muziek buiten tot laat in de avond en joelende schreeuwende jongelui rondom hun zwembad tot na middernacht! Dat is echt erg jammer in de mooie rustige natuur waar het huis ligt! Je moet dus de mazzel hebben dat die jongerenaccomodatie net niet verhuurd is in jouw eigen huurperiode.

Super gîte à la campagne

Gite très accueillant en pleine campagne, bien équipé. Jolie piscine (un peu fraîche) avec de très beaux points de vue. Situation assez centrale pour visiter tous les joyaux du Périgord. L’équipe pour l’accueil et le ménage était très sympathique. C’est une très bonne adresse !

Nous avons loué le gite en complément du domaine voisin pour des couchages supplémentaires. Tres jolie maison, Bien décorée dans un style "ancien" ! Robin qui nous a accueilli, est tres agréable et arrangeant !

À quiet place far from any city roads but perfect to visit the area

The property is ok for 6 persons but not adapted for small children. We enjoyed this quiet place and the pool. The localisation was good to visit Both Dordogne and Lot departments.

Très beau séjour

Maison située dans un joli hameau sur les hauteurs d'Urval, calme absolu, on sort de la maison et on prend les sentiers de randonnée. Maison très agréable, la cuisine donne sur la terrasse, très belles chambres, pièce à vivre très spacieuse. Anja, la responsable des locations, habite sur place, elle est adorable et toujours disponible pour vous donner des conseils. La maison est idéalement située, quelque soit la route que vous prendrez, vous êtes à côté de magnifiques sites à visiter. Bref séjour parfait.

Superleuk vakantiehuis met zwembad

Heerlijke vakantie gehad in deze villa met zwembad. Rustig gelegen in de Dordogne in een landelijke omgeving met leuke dorpjes in directe omgeving. Huis is leuk en verzorgd ingericht. Heerlijk zwembad met ligbedden erbij en fijn terras bij het huis. Leuk om hier met vrienden of familie door te brengen, echt een aanrader en komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Mooie villa landelijk gelegen

Fijne vakantie gehad. Hadden eigen entree voor slaap en badkamer .( waren met twee gezinnen)Mooi zwembad met ligstoelen.Hebben ook veel buiten gegeten,gebarbecued .(overkapping)Afwasmachine was ook erg handig .Mooie omgeving Restaurant en supermarkt niet ver met auto .
