Beautiful place very peaceful we all enjoyed the pool & we were met by the lovely owners. All was very clean & all our needs were met however I do feel there should be more towels as we did pay for the towels & they were limited.

Dordogne 2023

An excellent and beautiful property. Location superb, house and amenities well thought out. Lovely sheltered, sunny pool, I can't fault it. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, answered all my questions and even booked a restaurant for us for our first night. I would love to stay there again and cant recommend it highly enough.

Wonderful holiday

Our hosts really were amazing as our plane was greatly delayed and instead of arriving around 5.30pm, we finally arrived at 10.20pm! They were waiting for us and gave us a warm welcome, explained everything and handed over the keys. We felt so sorry for them as they then had a 2 1/2 hour drive back to Bordeaux. The house was impeccably clean, very well equipped and comfortable. There were lovely views over fields and the valley, it was very quiet and peaceful. Our hosts, Claude and Lydie, came on time to see us off, and we’re very charming.

Perfect stay

We loved our stay here at this lovely property, situated on the outskirts of a quiet and picturesque village. So peaceful with two balconies to appreciate the wonderful views across the valley. The house was well equipped with everything we needed; great BBQ and the pool is fantastic. We were warmly welcomed by Lydie & Claude who gave us a full run down of the facilities. Due to its relatively remote location a car is a must but many attractions can be reached within 30 minutes while there is a supermarket within 10 minutes drive. We particularly enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne and visiting various chateau's and gardens nearby. There are also some lovely walks directly from the house, steep in sections but very rewarding. Thanks Lydie & Claude, we had a great time!

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour en famille dans ce petit coin de paradis. Maison pleine de charme, très bien équipée et impéccable.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine, les 2 terrasses avec vue sur Belvès et le calme du hameau. Commerces à 10 min et nombreux villages et sites touristiques à proximité.Nous remercions Claude et Lydie pour leur chaleureux accueil.

Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables dans cette jolie maison. Située au calme, elle offre un cadre idéal pour se reposer. A proximité du village de Saint-Germain-de-Belvès (sans commerce, mais avec beaucoup de charme), l’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir les nombreux sites touristiques de la région. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympathiques, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter !

Beautiful family Gite in wonderful surroundings

The Gite is impeccably well presented, very clean with all the utensils you need for a family or couples holiday. The pool is an ideal size, warm and maintained 2/3 times a week. All the main attractions for the Dordogne are within easy reach of the Gite. Having 2 balconies for meals allows you to enjoy the best of the weather throughout the day with pool view or stunning views across the valleys, Pre holiday the hosts are very helpful with enquiries and could not have been better when gretting us on our arrival. Thoroughly recommended

Mooi vakantiehuis in prachtige omgeving

La Croix is rustig gelegen met een prachtige uitzicht over de omgeving. De vakantiewoning was prima in orde, netjes, alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. We werden warm onthaald door Claude en Lydie. Ze zijn gastvrij en behulpzaam. Prachtige streek met veel en gevarieerde mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes. Heel mooi zwembad. Onze 2 tieners hebben zich uitstekend geamuseerd. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Amazing house with stunning views

We spent two weeks here and it was amazing. The hosts were so accommodating and welcoming. Communication was excellent during the booking process and our arrival and stay. The house is large and very well equipped. The upstairs living area is airy and allows for open plan living. The two verandas mean you can make the most of the sun or the shade. The pool was a hit with every member of our family from the kids to granny. There was ample off road parking for our large van. The location was perfect. It was rural enough to allow for complete peace but close enough to the various attractions of the Dordogne without having to travel far. We hope to return!

Très agréable sejour
