Really enjoyed our stay. The property and location are beautiful. The host was very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. Great basic needs in the kitchen. Highly recommend!
Beautiful setting with all the items to enjoy the lake! House is perfect with open kitchen with living room for everyone to be together. Nice porch and dock looking onto the lake. Great for mornings and afternoons! We took the canoe out on the lake. So pretty and relaxing. House is close to town and On the Veranda restaurant. Only downside is the road noise.
Had a great weekend with our grown children and Grandchildren from Atlanta, we live in Virginia and had not been to the Highlands before! Beautiful area. House was great and spacious and right on the water!
Great hospitality. Showers and kitchens stocked! Awesome location. Close to town and Franklin. House had amenities for the lake and kids and enjoyed every second. Beds comfy. Would def stay again!!
Incredible house and location relative to DT Highlands
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious house on the lake! Bigger than advertised, wonderful masters suite, all the amenities you could dream of being on the lake. Also super close and easy to get to DT highlands! Would definitely recommend and well be coming back for sure!
My employees stayed there for 5 weeks while they worked.
The house was perfect for 8 guys. Great location on the lake would recommend anyone to stay there family, girls trip, etc. Great location.
We nicknamed the trip “the boat trip without the boat”. The water view is amazing and we spent time outside everyday! Highlands is a charming town and great for hiking. We would visit the Highlands again!
We enjoyed our stay at this home in the highlands. The owner was excellent at communicating and always very quick/helpful to answer questions. Amazing location right out of downtown and plenty of space for our group of 6 adults, 3 kids!
This was our 2nd stay at this house. Perfect location on the lake and close to town. Even though it rained all week, we still make many lifelong memories with our family. We look forward to coming back again!
Great house and location. This house was perfect for a family. The space to spread out and also gather was very nice. Updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were great. Waking up and walking a few steps to the lake and dock were amazing. We had a blast.
The home was lovely and clean. It was on the water and had boats and poles that made for a fun experience. There could have been some additional supplies and the railing needs to be fixed, but otherwise the location was excellent and we had a great time.
The house was perfect for our needs! Beautiful location, well appointed home with everyone we needed. We were also renting the house next door so location couldn't have been better! Thx for laying out the welcome mat so nicely and making sure we had everything we needed.
We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful, well decorated home. The views were beyond stunning, especially in the morning and evening. My kids loved playing on the dock and even went for a paddle, brrr! It's so very spacious with tons of seating. It was really too big for our family of five, we didn't even use the smaller cottage. The views from the dining area were breathtaking. We really enjoyed the fire pit as well. We would definitely stay again!
4 adults, 3 teens, 1 golden retriever made full use of this property on the lake. House and adjoining cabin for the teens was great. Lake is beautiful, used the kayaks and SUPs. Close to downtown and hikes. Only negative is that it is right on a busy road so you cannot walk anywhere from the property and must be hyper alert that all gates are locked so dog does not get out. We really did enjoy our stay!
Main house was very clean needs a few repairs of cabinets and master shower leak. Bunk house was not clean at all dog hair and a vape on the floor. Loved the location and space and time on a peaceful lake with fishing and kayaking. Would definitely come back again.
I had a large group of friends split between two houses. We had the best time in the cabin. Rooms are perfect, the living area was great for all of us to watch a movie. Kitchen area was excellent. Our favorite was the fire pit and dock. We sat and enjoyed a fire listened to 70's music it was great. The cabin is clean, and easy to get to. Getting into Highlands is simple and fast. We hope to return next year.
