WHY IT'S SPECIAL
The home looks out to a state wildlife area. The unobstructed views allow you take in the mountain views & tranquility. Right out the front door you can walk or bike along the path or grab your fishing pole to catch a trout in the middle fork of the South Platte River. Be on the lookout for moose (they also love the river).
AMENITIES
Adventure Has was designed as a modern mountain retreat. Enjoy a soak in the Jacuzzi bathtub in the primary bath, the hot tub on the front deck, or get in some exercise on the spin bike. There are loads of games, puzzles, and playing cards.
THE LOCATION
Our property is a well-appointed basecamp for hiking, world class skiing 16 miles away in Breckenridge, fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, horse back riding, white water rafting, gold panning, hot air ballooning, and natural hot springs at Mt. Princeton. We have a flat driveway for easy access and ample parking. You can catch the Park County Commuter bus to Breckenridge several times a day from Main Street in Alma. Our home is 116 miles from DIA. 4WD is highly recommended during the winter season due to state traction laws.

* Primary Suite: Queen-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower, and private balcony to take in the stars.
* Bedroom 2: One queen-sized bed.
* Bedroom 3: One queen-sized bed. Art work is from local artist Scott Bullock.
* Pull-out queen sofa in Media room.
LIVING SPACES
Media Room: A comfortable entertainment area with a large leather sectional sofa bed, watercolor art from local artist Cat Roberts, and a flat screen television with streaming capabilities.
Fully Equipped Kitchen: Stainless steel appliances, double oven, granite counters, multiple sets of entertainer's-style dishes, and a barstool sitting area underneath hand-crafted glass pennants lights.
Great Room: Designed for gathering, the great room features oversized leather furniture, an electric wood stove, and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to the dramatic views of Silverheels Mountain.
Dining Area: The formal dining area seats six. Adorned with original art and buffet that holds extra cookware and hot tub towels.
Outdoor Decks: Sliding doors open to the front deck that looks onto the state wildlife area with unobstructed mountain views. The back deck features a gas grill (that is stored during the winter), and an additional seating area.
Not pets allowed.
We have security cameras pointed at the front door, back door, and garage door/driveway. Absolutely no cameras are inside of the house.
This property is great for families and trips with friends.

We absolutely fell in love with this house! We booked our stay during the first week of Autumn and the yellow leaves of the Aspen trees surrounded the house. The view from the hot tub was great! Everything we needed to escape, relax and explore! The owners were very attentive, nice and helpful. I would book again!

Great place in the mountains

Well kept, organized and clean cabin. Kitchen is stocked with everything. Your stay will be enjoyable and easy. Great communication from the owner for all the questions that we asked about the area or the stay. Access to the property was simple; no high incline driveway to deal with, plenty of parking and gorgeous unobstructed views. I would recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Love this house!!

A perfect place to spend Thanksgiving. The house was a perfect size for a family of five. The host was super responsive and a pleasure to work with. So many details in the house made it feel so cozy, especially the Christmas tree and lights. My kids loved the huge hot tub, I loved the large kitchen and comfortable beds. We can’t wait to go back.!!

Beautiful mountain house

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in the mountains. The communication with the host was excellent. The house was immaculately clean and very well appointed, especially in the kitchen. This was the best-appointed vacation home we've ever stayed at. We loved the hot tub and the incredible views. We went skiing in Breckenridge for three straight days. It was only 30 minutes away.

Beautiful home conveniently located just off Hwy 9. Very roomy. Comfortable beds. Kitchen is well equipped and grill is in great condition. Loved the fire table, made sitting outside at night very comfortable. Owner is incredibly responsive, often within minutes. She also made sure the security deposit was returned the day after we left.

Breathtaking

Came for a family Spring Break trip and had a blast! The house had top of the line appliances, and two separate living areas which was great for our family. Lots of games to play. Hot tub was nice an clean and up to date. Easy to get to and plenty of parking area. Our trip was cut short a day due to winter storm and the host was very quick and responsive. A very reasonable and limited amount of instructions for the house made check out easy. The host gave recommendations for places to eat in town. I would definably book again and highly recommend!

Beautiful high altitude getaway

We had a wonderful stay for the week! The house was wonderful and so was the hot tub. There was plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including spices and condiments! We went shopping and cooked alot, walmart was about 20 miles away in Frisco. We are from Iowa so the altitude difference was difficult up that high but we adjusted. All of the bedrooms are upstairs with 2 full baths up there and a half bath downstairs, the master had a large jet tub and a separate shower. We didn't have any issues at all with anything and the owner is amazing with communication. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful View

When we first arrived to the house, everyone was just amazed at how beautiful the house was! Then once we got into the house noticed how amazing the view was of the mountains. We are huge fans of cooking and let me just say they had everything you needed to make a nice meal including spices and things that you might forget to pick up at the grocery store. I was very impressed with the amount of games and activities the house had to keep us entertained after dark. The city close to the home was also very small but had a lot to offer. I definitely recommend the south park saloon it had amazing food and great service. We make a yearly winter trip to Breckenridge and will most definitely try to rebook our next years stay at this home.

Beautiful Cabin!

Our family loved staying at this cabin. It was so warm and cozy. Had a Christmas tree up which made it special. I've stayed at many cabins in my travels and this by far was the best stocked cabin. Everything you would need, it's there. The location was about 15 miles from Breckenridge, which we went there daily. Be sure to rent a 4-wheel drive and you will be fine. The cabin thankfully is easy to get to, no steep driveway. I stocked up on food at a Walmart in Denver, but there is a grocery store nearby which was sufficient as well. I did go there a few times. The views from every window were great to wake up to especially when it was snowing, picture perfect. After going out every day we come and home play board games, watched movies as it was stocked with tons of DVD's. We had a great vacation and happy that we rented this cabin.

House in the Heavens

Have you ever dreamed of finding Heaven on Earth? Well, at over 10 thousand feet high and views that go on forever, this is as close as you can get in this world! This beautiful 3 bedroom home is stocked with every amenity you could want. Whether you are a winter skier or summer hiker, you will love coming home to this beautiful and relaxing environment. Amazing home in a fantastic location!

This was hands down the best VRBO we have ever rented! The host was responsive and delightful, the house was immaculate, and we were close to everything we wanted to do. The house is spacious, and equipped with everything you might need! We had plenty of room, a completely stocked kitchen, and a hot tub! The whole process could not have been easier. The host answered all of my questions, and even helped with restaurant and activity recommendations. I can’t wait to stay here again!
