In the future, just give us a quick text or phone call if you notice anything that requires our attention during your stay, and we will get our housekeeper to return to home. We so appreciated choosing us in our private location in the Plantation, nestled surrounded by State Park land. John, thank you for your honest review. This home has 2 bedrooms/2 baths on first floor and master suite is on top floor with a 2nd bedroom on top floor as well. Then everyone meets in the middle for kitchen/living room/dining. You could put the younger crowd on top floor, but I love having the best views from my Master Suite top floor porches, and I am almost 65. I tend to read a lot of books at my St George Island home, on the porches, so stairs twice a day I don’t mind. We hope you will return soon to enjoy the gorgeous nature environment in the private St. George Plantation. Recently my family spotted over 50 dolphins each day on the beach and was able to swim with them. Quite a rare treat.

Rachel, I agree, this house has 3 sets of stairs to the top floor, but the views are worth it on the Master Suite Floor. The first floor has the 2 guest rooms plus extra sleeping area for 2, so I did like the fact the children are not close the those on third floor. I like my privacy away from my guests also, as I read a lot at that home and I also catch up on Netflix, but those who dislike stairs can always stay on 1st floor near kitchen/living room. I am so glad you liked the home otherwise! There is no better home for privacy and seclusion. And having 6 brand new Schwann Hybrid bikes to ride in Plantation or on the Island and 3 kayaks is also a bonus, plus new beach chairs, umbrella, etc. We really hope you will come back next year! Lori, I have 4 amazing dogs who travel with me everywhere, I know you loved having yours at St. George Island, one of the only beaches that allows dogs and building fires on the beach without permits. And to be able to also ride horses at nearby Cape San Blas on that gorgeous beach is another reason people love St. George. The views from the 4 decks reminds me of an African setting with so many wide beautiful vistas and having no neighbors is a big bonus to me. The Tennis Court next door also is popular with our family.

Thank you for your review. We discovered that you never intended to stay longer than 2 days for your vacation despite booking the home for the week. Then we checked with maid on your comments. The 2 extra AC units you turned off on top floor which affects the temperature upstairs. All the 6 beds had zero stains or smells, the sofa slip covers or pet smells, no one else has ever mentioned. The home did not need a deep clean, & the trash cans were picked up on Tuesday, on schedule, it seemed you just planned to leave early as we found your Rental Car contract. But all your newest comments will be researched thoroughly including outdoor furniture and door frames. My 2 different maids said things were in good order at my home, and that none of your complaints were actually valid. The current guests do not agree either, with your assessment of the property but we always welcome feedback from our guests.

Thank you for your review Brooke, we do appreciate your feedback. The hot water heater needed a simple part repaired, but we decided to replace it instead. Our sub was in the hospital for 3 weeks so that repair got delayed. Two of our ACs did receive a new capacitor plus 3 brand new breakers outside, which were ordered promptly. As you know, both ACs got fully repaired and working during your stay within 24 hours. Therefore moving forward, there won’t be any further issues. You arrived after 4 pm, thus AC techs came promptly the following morning after your request. All our vendors were super professional and came as quickly as possible to address your concerns. I again apologize for the short interruptions in your stay. My housekeeper advised me that during their clean, all 3 ac units were working perfectly, and were set at 72 degrees for your arrival later that day. This is why you were not informed of any problem before your arrival. I fully understand your concerns, with this extremely rare situation and appreciate your kindness displayed. We are happy to compensate you for any inconvenience experienced, and we will be in touch with you.
