Historic Southern Utah Cottage- 20 miles to Zion National Park
This historical property has been updated from the inside out. Built in 1904 by the Wilson family, one of the very first families to settle LaVerkin. It is one of the oldest Pioneer homes in all of Southern Utah.
This one bedroom, one bath structure is a combination of adobe brick and stick frame construction. The outside of the building has been left primarily untouched to maintain its historical integrity but has been updated inside to accommodate the modern traveler.
*Please note our weather is similar Las Vegas Nevada, not Northern Utah. We have such amazing weather to come and experience the great Zion National Park!! (July and August ARE hot- But Zion has water hikes!) *We are open year round

We lived this charming spot. Perfect for Grandma and Grandpa and grandson for his 10 year old trip with us! Short beautiful drive to Zion. The cabin is perfect for the full kitchen, large bathroom and comfortable beds!
We had a great time- the cottage was perfect for me and my husband! It was very charming, the hosts were great, and it was close to Zion which was perfect for us. Definitely recommend this spot!
Hands down the best experience I've had out of anywhere I've ever stayed. Liz is an amazing host. I told her I was bringing my girlfriend to Zion to propose and she not only gave me a list of amazing locations, while we were gone she decorated for me to surprise my now fiance. This litte house is quiet, private, clean, and up to date. Cant wait to stay here again.
This was our home base for our four-day trip to Zion. The location was extremely convenient when we needed to head back to the cabin, which was equipped with AC and was perfect to escape the heat. The kitchen was perfect for making our own meals and was stocked with all the basic pots/dishes/paper towel you need. We shopped for groceries at Lin's in Hurricane, which was a much closer commute than we expected. The interior of the cabin was very comfortable and had a great porch view of a mountain. The bathroom was gorgeous and stocked with complimentary shampoo, soap, and conditioner. We recommend this place to anyone staying in the area, especially if traveling to Zion! We would love to stay here again someday.
This was a lovely place to rest after our long hikes and exploration of Zion National Park and the surrounding area! A cozy little respite perfectly located just enough off the beaten trail to feel out of the touristy fray.
Quaint little cabin with upto date amenities, comfortable bed over all it was a comfortable and relaxing location. We spent four days and went Zion and Bryce Canyon National parks.
Would definitely recommend r.again.
It is an adorable little cabin and we really enjoyed our time there. There’s a cute little book on the history of the cabin and provide nuts from their trees.
It’s perfect for a couple get away and close to Zion.
The property is beautiful. The historic cabin has been beautifully preserved and furnished.
A lovely hard cover book detailing all the important things to know about the area along with a history of the family is very informative.
The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely historic cabin. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed, including being able to cook meals, and do a load of laundry. The bed was very comfortable as well. We appreciated the responsiveness of the owners with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

This cabin is adorable! The details in the restoration and the decor made it feel so cozy and like home! The bed was fabulously comfortable. Just a short drive to Zion, it was the perfect location for our adventures as well as for enjoying some local flavor upon our return each night. Loved the access to a W/D, too! Highly recommend for a couples getaway!
Peaceful, well appointed cabin. We visited in late June where temperatures were above 100. The cabin was an oasis.

Why they chose this property
The history here on this property is amazing. My husband's 3rd Great-Grandfather, Grandpa Wilson built this small home for his wife and 3 children to live in while he built the larger farm home next store. This home holds great importance and special, priceless value to our family. We are happy we can share it with your family. Enjoy being a part of history while staying in the very historic home.
