Air conditioning and heating worked well. House is in a great location close to everything you could want to do. Cleaning could be better. Refrigerator had food leakage under one of the drawers that wasn’t well cleaned because the door can’t be opened wide enough to remove the drawer. The smell was terrible. Lots of light bulbs out throughout the entire house. A lot of fixtures, electrical outlets, etc., broken. House has exterior damage that needs to be fixed badly. Mattress on the downstairs bed is completely worn out and very uncomfortable. Neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and the morning and evening views over the water are gorgeous. Location is superb. We really did enjoy our stay very very much!
I/We loved this house and the views. I would rent this house again. But, this house needs some love. Lots of minor repairs need to be done. I hope to use this property again.
Absolutely loved the house. Beautiful windows overlooking the water. Beds a little on the hard side and house on the older side. But over all great experience and would definitely stay again.
My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location! Their home is lovely! They have did all they could to ensure that we were comfortable! Thank you for allowing us to stay there!
This was our 2nd stay at this property, and, even with the price increase, it was great. Easy access to downtown Beaufort and a short trip to the beautiful beaches at Hunting Island State Park. Looking forward to coming back next year.
We had an awesome time and felt right at home.
Previous reviews had mentioned the heat was out, host was very quick to respond to my concerns and assured me it was no longer an issue.
10/10 will book again.
Description of house is not what it appeared in daytime, should have know must of pictures on listing is at night! Very disappointed that VRBO would let someone advertise this location in the outside shape it was in. Toilet running when we got there and tv in living room would t work. Outside of house is falling apart.
The owners of this VRBO site are some of the kindest and accommodating people I have met.
Love their place. There were 6 family members and we were all spread out.
A fine place to stay and fish!!!!!!
This is generous size house with everything you need to feel at home, The owners were accessible and accommodating with every need. The furnishings are sparse, but the view and location are exceptional and well worth the price.
The location is literally a million dollar location with fabulous views from the main house. It’s an A frame center with a loft bedroom that showcases the view as does the downstairs Master bedroom, den, dining room and kitchen. We didn’t stay in the guest house which doesn’t have a view but does have access to the dock as well. If you’re an outdoor living place, boater, fishing from the dock person this has what you need and you’ll love it. The floating part of the dock doesn’t have a ladder or we’d have been swimming. This is right across from the downtown sandbar(a pretty popular local sandbar that’s great to hang out on).
The location was amazing and the owners were very responsive. We saw dolphins and the cruise ships going in and out. Beds and furniture was comfortable it was furnished beautifully and well stocked with shower soap, dish soap and laundry soap along with paper products. We would definitely recommend this home away from home. We will be back!
This home was beautiful. Easy access to the property. Great parking for us and the boat. Owners were very helpful and nice. Beds were comfortable. So much room. When you just need a peaceful get away this is the place.
The house was beautiful and Joanna is an amazing host. Joanna sent me a list of things to do and places to eat when she sent the check in and was very prompt to answer all my questions. I will definately be going back to this house.
Very comfortable house with a dock on the water. Wonderful back deck. There were a couple of glitches when we got there but our host and his family worked out the issues beautifully.
Beaufort is a great town with good restaurants. Best was the old Bull Tavern. The
Great weather helped us enjoy the waterfront property. Launched my inflatable kayak from the dock. Fished from the dock catching several small sharks. A dophin appeared next to the dock as he surveyed the are for food.
Visited local restaurants and the museum on Parris Island where our marines train.
