Wilmington Village House near Mount Snow

A great family or friend getaway from the hustle and bustle, this Vermont home is for you! A walkable and convenient location highlights this sunny house with three bedrooms, spacious living room, a three-season sunroom, and an updated granite/stainless kitchen. The main bathroom features a standup shower and jetted tub. A second smaller bathroom is off the mudroom with a standup shower. Outside, the side yard has a fire pit and yard games.

Located on a well-plowed road near VT Routes 9 and 100 for easy access. Parking for 3-4 cars in the driveway. See "other notes" below for additional details.

The house is less than a 10 minute walk from Wilmington Village shopping and dining. Wilmington Village has some great dining spots like Dots, 19 South Main, La Casita, Alpenglow Bistro, and Village Roost. Just beyond the village are two fun breweries, Snow Republic Brewery in Dover and Beer Naked Pizza in Marlboro, which has breathtaking mountain views.

For the winter, the house is an easy 15 minute drive from Mount Snow ski resort and about 40 minutes from Stratton Mountain. Prospect Mountain, with cross country skiing, is also nearby. The Moover (a free bus to Mount Snow) picks up down the street.

In the summer and fall, enjoy easy access to some amazing hiking trails and to swimming areas at the Herriman Reservoir. Herriman Reservoir is a gem with grassy grilling areas, swimming spots, rentals for kayak, jet skis, and a tiki boat. Museums and galleries in North Adams and Williamstown are about 35 minutes away.

Other things to note
Sedans and non-4 wheel drive vehicles should park at the bottom of the driveway in the winter because the incline can be a bit slippery.

Please be careful walking around the outside of the house in winter because inclement weather conditions can quickly cause changes in on the walkway and driveway.
