Located close to everything (20 mins to Asheville, Black Mountain & Chimney Rock) but it feels like you're entirely in your own world. Massive outdoor spaces with decks, patios, yards and VIEWS all year round! Enjoy the propane outdoor fireplace, the indoor gas fireplace and the hot tub for fun any time of the year!

The property has an acre of completely fenced in space for animals, kids and adults to play safely!

Mountain views pour in from every window in this cozy, private home on top of Spring Mountain in Fairview, NC. 2 bedrooms with king sized beds & 1 smaller room with 2 twin beds. There are 2 small bathrooms, one ensuite and the other shared by the other bedrooms. There is a full kitchen, dining area and spacious living room to relax indoors. Outdoors there are hundreds of square feet of covered decks with comfortable furniture, a fire pit, hot tub and much more.

We have high speed internet & there is very strong cell phone service from the house (helps to be so high!).

The house is located on top of a mountain but is easily accessible via paved, state maintained roads. No gravel driveways or all wheel drive needed! There are 2 parking spaces and plenty of space for uncovered parking.

We try very hard to be respectful of our neighbors. No parties, loud music or anything else outside please. Sound travels in weird ways on top of a mountain and the area has small children and dogs who we don't want to disturb. Inside you can be as loud as you like, but please respect the outdoor spaces!

The house is a really nice older home. We loved the large deck with the hot tub, fire pit and seating, and outdoor seating for dining. The fenced in area was great for the dogs. They loved it there too.

Weekend Mountain Trip

My husband and our daughter stayed here for a chill 4th of July weekend. The back deck has a great view, with a large dining table, fire pit table, and a hot tub. It was lovely!

as described, very pastoral, but the yard had a lot of dog waste when we arrived. We cleaned up after our dogs but noticed that several neighborhood dogs came to visit everyday while we were there. Other than that, it was great. I would book again.

Perfect getaway

Took a trip with my cousin and my pup for a nice little mental health break. This house was perfect. Spacious, plenty of outdoor space, and gorgeous views. Host was very responsive and assisted promptly with anything that we had questions about. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit on the patio were a great addition.

Amazing view

Loved getting back to the house after doing one of the many great hiking trails nearby and soaking in the hot tub, barbecuing and watching the moon rise. Having my morning coffee while watching the sunrise was also a favorite. Close to black mountain which is a great little town for shopping and dining.

Fabulous Holiday Stay

This home had plenty of room for my family of six. Two of the six did daily runs down the side of the mountain, and along the roads and back. The rest of us walked it. Very quiet while we were there. Close to Asheville and Black Mountain.

Absolutely fantastic

Location was amazing and quiet. Barely any traffic at all up and down the mountain. Neighbors barely made a sound. The house was very cozy. 10/10 would recommend. Property managers could not have been any better. Best experience honestly

Comfortable house with amazing views.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home on the side of a hill with amazing views of surrounding mountains. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to run in and we enjoyed eating dinner on the large deck. The house was very comfortable and furnished with 50's-style decor. We enjoy hiking and found trails nearby our favorite being Bearwallow Mt trail. We would return to stay in this property.

If u love beautiful views of nature

This house was a wonderful place to stay for our family including the 4-legged ones. The mountain/sunset/sunrise views were fantastic! Every single bedroom & living room & outdoor deck had wonderful view. layout was perfect. Everything you could need is there. We were convenient to shopping & restaurants. Overall, highly recommend.

Quiet and Peaceful

This place was great for a quiet getaway and convenient to many hikes. If you are looking to go out for dinner and such each night, probably not your place. The yard is massive and was great for our dogs to be able to have a large area to explore and run. Great views from the deck. The property is well maintained and has everything you need, however it isn’t luxury high end, which is completely fine for us, but just stating that in case that is important.z. The listing was very accurate and everything went very smoothly. Would stay again.

The Good: The view is awesome and the back deck with hot tub and fire pit was our favorite part. Plenty of linens and towels provided. There is a large fenced yard. It's not far to town if you need to get groceries, but at the house you feel like you're away from it all.The not-so-good: There is a house next door with permanent residents with two large dogs. One of them was aggressively snarling with hackles raised at our small dog. We had to leave the gate closed because otherwise the large dogs kept coming into the yard. We tried to take walks on the road, but the neighbor made nasty comments about people staying in the vacation home. I hate to take stars off the review for this because it isn't the owner's fault, but it was a major damper on our trip. Also, the kitchen cabinets and dishes could use a thorough scrub.

North Carolina Mountain Stay

My husband and I stayed with our little dog for a week and did several day trips from the house. The house is in a great location and is easy to get in and out of. The view is amazing, and the deck is great. The indoor gas fireplace and gas stove in the kitchen are a plus and the bed was very comfortable. The host provided all the info we needed in a timely manner and was easy to understand. Unfortunately, the house really needs a good cleaning and the outdoor grill and pots and pans in the kitchen need to be replaced. The faucets in the kitchen and showers need attention as well.
