We throughly enjoyed our stay in Glenbeigh. The house had an unbelievable view of the bay and beach and it had very serene environment with all the amenities. We were also able to travel easily to all other villages and towns. Definitively would love to return!!! Thank you King Family
A really beautiful home with a stunning sea view. We spent our days exploring , after a morning dip ,and our evenings sipping gin and taking in that ever changing vista !Great communication from John and a really great place to explore the whole of kerry .. we did the three main penninsulas and only missed getting down to cork to kiss the blarney stone! saved that for next time !! As a wee note for directions .. pass through glenbeigh to Rosspoint and turn up a steep rough hill with Rossbeigh cottages sign ..take the next left up hill and its the second driveway on your left .
Great location for a Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula adventure. Everything we needed was supplied. Beautiful view of the beach and beyond. Would recommend.
Beautiful home overing the bay. Very comfortable and well kitted out. Our family of 6 (all adults) loved every minute of our stay. Owners could not have been more accommodating. Great pub/restaurant just down the hill. Wish we were still there!!

Hi Jill & Reg,
Delighted to hear you enjoyed your two week stay at Rossbeigh Beach house and also your daily walks around the area of which there is a large choice and also you enjoyed Jacks Coastguard restraurant in Cromane.
Regards
John
Loved the small community and amazing views. The Master bedroom was a bit difficult to enjoy due seriously bad odor that smelled like sewer. The house was mostly clean- yet musty and full of cobwebs. The kitchen was a falling apart -but nothing serious. This would have been a 5 star stay had it not been for the odor. Thank you for sharing!
The house overall was really nice, very clean and comfortable, however all 3 bathrooms could use an serious update. Toilet seat in the hall bath was broken and cause a couple of rear end pinches.
The views were very nice, but could be much better if the hedges were trimmed. Had to move the lawn chairs to the far edge of the patio to appreciate the views.
But would have no problem returning for another stay.

Lovely Home with Amazing Views
A wonderful four bedroom, three bathroom home with a fantastic view!!! This beautiful home very comfortably will hold eight adults. We were a party of five and had more than enough room to spare. It has a very spacious kitchen where we were able to prepare meals a few evenings after a full day out sight-seeing. Upon our arrival, the owner, greeted us and graciously had a bottle of wine, butter, and brown bread awaiting us!! We met the owner at the local petrol station and followed him to the hillside where the home is located which gives the incredible view seen in the picture. At night we kept the drapes in our bedroom open so we could watch the lights across the bay on the Dingle Peninsula. In the morning we would drink our coffee at the living room window and become mesmerized staring at the view. I must say, the view is even more stunning than shown. Any questions we had about the house or the area were very promptly answered by the owners who were so incredibly kind. It was so nice to be able to have space for all of us and that would allow someone to stay in for the day if they so desired. There is much to explore in the region. We visited the Kerry cliffs, the very charming town of Kenmare, and a most memorable trip to Skelig Michael. A small grocery store with many supplies is close by and an even larger grocery is located in Killorglin, a short distance away. We dined a few evenings in the nearby Towers pub which we all enjoyed very much. This very welcoming home is certainly a place I would recommend and would absolutely love to revisit. One day using binoculars we were even able to see a crumbling castle or tower across the water on the Dingle Peninsula. I just can't imagine a home with more incredible views and comfort than this lovely home. It certainly helped make our trip a wonderful memory-making journey.

Thank you Marlene for your fullsome review of our house at Rossbeigh and I must say that your description of the views from the house across to Dingle peninsula and Inch Beach are very accurate and after over 20 years owning the property I still find them enthralling and as you say mesmerizing.
It was great you got to visit Skelig Michael as some times it is not possible to land on the island due to the swell and you also got to sample the local Towers pub and meet up with some of the locals.

this house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday...plenty of room inside and out..comfortable beds and a view that makes you want to stay all day
The home was perfect for our family holiday. We went to the playground and beach every day and took day trips around Kerry. The home was located just a short walk from the playground and beach. It was also very comfortable to come home to each day. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Even put us in touch with a wonderful babysitter who allowed us to have a couple evenings on our own. Highly recommend and hope to visit again!
The house was perfect for our group of 8. Lots of room to spread out and also be together when we wanted. The view is absolutely stunning from the porch. Had several barbecues on the deck.
I would recommend this property.
My family and various guests greatly enjoyed our stay in Rossbeigh including the non-stop view of the beach. Spaciousness was helpful particularly on non-sunny days. We all enjoyed horse-riding and long walks on the beach, whatever the weather.
Non Irish visitors would possibly benefit from a one page laminated Introduction to kitchen lay-out (electricity) etc.
We loved our stay in Glenbiegh. The house near Rossbeigh beach, but a short drive into Glenbeigh. The store in Glenbeigh has everything we needed, and we had a person with special dietary needs. The restaurants were nice in Glenbeigh. It was also a good location for drives to Killarney, the Dingle pennisula and a voyage to the Skellig Islands. There was plenty of great hiking around the area. and we had a lovely horseride on the beach. John and Norrie were very nice and answered whatever questions we had. The house was well equipped and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. We would definitey stay again and recommend it to others.
This is a wonderful spot, spacious, beautiful views and owners are very accommodating and helpful. I would go back there in a minute. People are terrific. Loved Rosspoint Restaurant.

Beautiful surroundings...responsive owners...
My family and I stayed for four nights with some stormy weather! A nice supply of start up food was waiting for us and John was very accommodating in lieu of our later than anticipated arrival time. Homey surroundings made for a very pleasant stay. The house had plenty of space for six adults and kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Glenbeigh village has an excellent little hotel and pub with great food and live music the night we were there.

Beautiful setting overlooking Glenbeigh beach
The house is a great option for a family holiday with 4 bedrooms and spacious living area and kitchen. The views from the front of the house are stunning as you are overlooking Rossbeigh beach with it's long sandy beach which is wonderful for a morning walk. It is about a 5 min drive into Glenbeigh town and there are a few options for lunch and dinner if you don't want to drive too far. The location is also excellent for easy access to the Ring of Kerry.
Two areas for improvement:
1) the bathrooms are a bit small and dark in particular the bathroom off the master bedroom
2) the welcome we received at check in was quite cold. I think there was a miscommunication between the office and I as they were expecting me to arrive at Glenbeigh at 4pm but we arrived much later. When I called to confirm the actual timing of our arrival the person meeting us had already left to the meeting point. This was not my fault but he let me know he was not happy and did not make much effort to either welcome us or conduct a proper check in.

Amazing view
A lovely house in a great situation, amazing view, but not that far up the hill, so easy to walk down to the beach. The water was a bit cold, but we did have fun swimming in the sea when the tide was out. The house is well equipped, plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses etc. nicely decorated and very clean. The ensuite shower rooms are rather small.
Lots to do in the locality.
