Thank you , I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you soon .
Booked this property for a family getaway. House was very clean and well maintained with lots of new appliances. Great spaces for cookouts, campfires, playing games, and fishing. Mr Casey supplied extra kayaks and lifejackets and was easy to reach with questions. Lake Champlain was a nice paddle down the Great Chazy River, and we caught lots of perch from the dock. I can't say enough nice things about this property and the host!

Thank You for the nice review, Hope to see you again..
Excellent stay! The cottage is not large, but enough for two average families or one large one. Everything is spotless, everything working. The kitchen and living room area is spacious, two large tables, comfortable chairs etc. Bedrooms are comfortable and equipped with enough storage. The host takes care of providing all small necessities, from the paper towels to the shower gel/shampoo etc. The only thing we could not find was the vegetable peeler, so we bought one and successfully forgotten it there ;)The kitchen could benefit from some extra utensils, plates etc. May not be sufficient for a large company.Outdoor areas are well maintained, plenty of space to sit and enjoy the nature. The road next to the house can be noisy at times, but usually by 9pm the traffic calms down, so you can relax at the fire pit.The host was very easy to communicate with, I was getting the answers instantly.Kayaking on the river (there are 3, one double and two solo) is pleasant. Getting to the water is easy.Fishing is also great. Large perches and smallmouth basses are on the daily menu. You can fish from the pier, target the 10am direction (to the far side of the bridge) at the depth of 1.2m or more, if you are brave - there is something under the water there that makes it tricky, but also rewarding. Early morning or an hour before sunset, otherwise do not bother.
WOW! WOW! WOW!What an unforgettable stay! From our first conversation with Stacy to the moment we reluctantly packed to leave, everything about this beautifully remodeled home was exceptional. It was warm, inviting, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home—even the smallest details showed how much Stacy cares about his guests. What made this visit truly special was the location. Just minutes from our family farm and across from the old hotel where my great-grandmother once worked, this home became a journey back in time. Looking out the window, I could almost see my younger sister and me crossing the street after Sunday church to buy fresh donuts from the little market. Those precious childhood memories came rushing back.Up the hill sits the family Bechard farm overlooking the breathtaking beauty of Lake Champlain. Returning to the land that had been in our family for generations filled my heart with gratitude. Every familiar view reminded me of my grandparents and the countless memories made there with them and my cousins. It truly felt like coming home.My husband loved having the Great Chazy River in the backyard and is already planning another trip - with fishing rods in hand - to chase muskie and northern pike with his friends. We've already recommended Stacy's VRBO to family and friends. This wasn't just a wonderful place to stay—it became part of our family's story. Thank you, Stacy. We can't wait to return!

Great space in the North Country. Property has a great view, amenities, and the beds were terrific to sleep in. Well stocked for cooking and coffee (provided). The lint roller was very appreciated for our visit. Thanks!

Why they chose this property
Whether it's watching the sunset over the water, kayaking on a quiet afternoon, or simply sitting on the porch enjoying the view, living by the river brings a sense of calm and connection to nature that I truly cherish.
What makes this property unique
My river house stands out because of its perfect blend of charm, comfort, and breathtaking views. Large windows and an open design let in plenty of natural light, offering stunning panoramic sights of the river at all times of the day. The house’s rustic yet modern aesthetic, with warm wood accents and cozy spaces, creates a welcoming retreat. Whether it’s the sound of the water lapping against the shore, the sight of wildlife passing by, or the vibrant sunsets reflecting on the river, my home captures the essence of waterfront living in a truly special way.
