We really enjoyed our stay in Alburgh VT. There is so much to do in Alburgh along with the neighboring islands. We didn’t get out Kayaking or biking as much as we wanted because of the weather but we got a lot of hiking in. Got up early for a couple amazing sunrises. Bird life around kept us entertained for hours. We would definitely come back
From start to finish was an absolute pleasure... The booking , the communication , the responses to questions asked, the property description and items most needed were spot on, the views are amazing to watch especially as the sun rises. The experiance was a solid 10 across the board... We will be back for a much longer stay now knowing there is a solid property and owner to return to. Keep up the great work and Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home...P.Smith
Had a great week on Lake Champlain. House is in a wonderful location right on the water. Very close to boat launch, gas and, groceries. The Host was very kind and helpful.
Great house with beautiful views and good location on the water. It was a sizable property big enough for two families! We loved hanging out on the deck and our dogs loved the water! The dock/beach area of the property isn’t the best for swimming however - we went to Alburgh Dunes State Park that had an excellent beach and was just a short drive from the house. We were also able to rent a pontoon that was so much fun! Great host with recommendations on the pontoon rental and super easy check in/out process! Lovely house on the lake!
My family and I love the property, it's amazing, the host is very friendly, the commendations for kids are great, we have stayed there for the past 3 years and it great, it's really nice!
We stayed here for our annual girls’ trip with my mom, sister and our daughters. Property was beautiful, right on the lake and about an hour from Montreal. We had an amazing time!
Beautiful spacious property with easy lake access and lots of yard. House was fully stocked with bath & lake towels, kitchen supplies, coffee pots and dishes. Loved the hooks everywhere for towels and any other personal items. Lake was beautiful, caught a few large & small fish. Swimming wasn’t ideal due to lily pads & lake grass, but that is more for the spiny soft shell turtles that are protected in that area. The use of the garage was awesome, it gave us extra storage and space to hang out when it rained. The few questions we had Josie responded within an hour. We enjoyed the nearby ice cream shops, small markets and a trip to Montreal. We also enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding from the dock. We rented a boat from Campbells Campground-easy to work with and reasonably priced. We were able to explore more of the lake and swim at the dunes. Enjoyed several campfires in the evening and coffee on the decks. The house was comfortable and had what we needed, although it could have been a little cleaner when we arrived. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property and the surrounding area.
Everything from checking in to the whole stay was amazing anything we had questions on or needed we asked and the host made sure we got it she was super friendly great location definitely something id book at again
Four older guys pulling 2 bass boats stayed for 6 days fishing bass in Lake Champlain. The location is excellent for us, close to some prime fishing areas.
