It was very clean, spacious, close to the water, everything we needed was there for us. We had 8 adults and 4 children and we all loved it alot. Enough bathrooms and showers and bedrooms, big table and chairs, nice deck, dock too.
We had 7 adults in our group. The house is very comfortable, the dining table was great (giving us plenty of space to play board games in the evenings), and the kitchen was well stocked. We were able to store our bicycles in the garage (which helped because it rained hard during the night). They have a good lawn space for games and the dock and outdoor seating areas are lovely. Burnet Island State Park is minutes away and beautiful. We highly recommend the ice cream at Dylan’s Dairy in Cornell. The hosts were responsive to questions. Thanks for the great stay!
We were impressed with the cleanliness of this home. It was well stocked with almost everything you would need. There was a lot of room for family to spread out and have their space. We had fun kayaking, fishing, playing yard games and having a bonfire.
Came with adult children to stay since we were attending a family wedding in the area. The house was actually better than the pictures and we had plenty of room to spread out. Would definitely recommend!
Great place for a group of 6. Plenty of room. I am the cook for the group and this had the best equipped kitchen of any VRBO we have rented in the past 15 years!
The property was beautiful, the home, the view, the lake..all of it. The owners of this property have thought of it all. Our group was impressed with the thought and care put into making this getaway a easy one to plan. We will be back again!
The house was very nice and clean! We had family with for a wedding just down the road at the Lodge and it was perfect for us all! Plenty of sleeping spaces and was well equipped with kitchen/dinnerware. There is a nice fire pit on a patio however with the wind we just enjoyed the nice gas fire pit on the deck. Huge added bonus viewing the northlights from the dock! Would definitely stay again and highly recommended!
Extra space was needed during our extended family Christmas weekend. The layout of the house with sleeping areas on three levels worked great! The 2 families (4 adults and 4 children) enjoyed the roomy home. It had everything needed and more!
Location of this property was perfect for road cycling in all directions out of Holcombe. Convenient to reach via car and nice to have indoor garage space to place our bicycles at night. We loved the comfortable living room area and floor to ceiling windows, the workable kitchen and large dining room table for evening dinners. Just one of the group took advantage of the kayaks available, but we all enjoyed gathering around the fire pit each evening, recounting memorable details of each day’s rides while sipping beverages and making s’mores.
We had a fabulous time and this rental was perfect. It was the best fit for our group of overnighters and one couple who brought their RV. We spent each evening around the firepit and had fantastic views of the water and the stars. Location was close to find plenty of things to do. I would book this again!! Beautiful home. Lots of parking. Roomy with plenty of living room seating. Loved the backyard and deck. Great seating on the deck and around the fire pit. Fished right off the dock. Great communication with the owners. We had an appliance failure but the owners were very reactive.
The trip and stay were good. It was difficult to get to the ice to fish. When we did we discovered the whole bay only had max 2-3’ of water below ice. But other than water depth and fishing trip was good. Home is nice and has a lot to offer.
Wonderful stay. Cabin has literally everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation by the lake. You can swim off the dock, but if seaweed bothers you there's a nice beach just minutes away. Only complaint was the bugs. There was millions around the deck and a ton got inside the cabin and on the grills. The neighbors were getting their cabin sprayed and we joked that we wouldnt mind a little our way. Ha, we get it though, its Wisconsin. Other then that, a very conformable stay. Thanks again!!

Perfect size place for a group of 9 girl friends gathering for a weekend. Very spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms.
Online info needs to be updated regarding parking in garage. Two vehicles can’t be parked in garage as it is occupied. Other than that this is a fabulous house and location.
This cabin was very accommodating and well stocked with anything you might need to make your stay comfortable. Our three adult children, two with spouses, each had their own bedroom with space to set up a pack n play for our three infant granddaughters. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and with two grills (Blackstone and gas grill) plus full size appliances in the kitchen including a dishwasher, it worked out so well. The yard was decent, grass a bit long but the mowers arrived on Friday (we checked in on Wednesday) so that was nice. This cabin sits in a bay so swimming is not good however, we did use the kayaks and a paddle board and the owner mentioned that there’s a beach very close by but with three babies, we didn’t attempt it. I would definitely stay at this vrbo again and would recommend it! I should also mention, the owner was quick in responding to all questions, which is not always the case so I appreciated that so much.
I try and make a cabin stay each year for my wife's birthday and try to find something on the water. The location for the house is right on the bay and a great view of the water with lots of windows on the back of the house. The cleanliness of the house was alright when we arrived. Some dirt spots here and there on the floor and some heavier dust in places, but still approachable. Our daughters aged 6 and 4 really enjoyed the toys and games that were available. Unfortunately the dining room table was fairly small for our group of 11, but there is ample seating space around the house. It would have been nice to get outside and enjoy the lake and the fire pit, but unfortunately our stay was a complete washout with rain and we didn't get to experience the outdoor amenities. Perhaps we can try to be back in a warmer time of year and cross our fingers that the rain stays away.
The owners were very easy to work with and kept me informed of any ice on the lake and how the conditions changed closer to our stay. Thanks for a great weekend!
Your hosts are outdoor enthusiasts that enjoy everything this area has to offer. Foodies at heart so your kitchen is well stocked with making your gourmet meal. Not a cook? That’s okay because there are plenty of nearby restaurants on the water
