Large but a little cold

This home has lots of beds and was pretty clean. Things just seemed a little tired and run down. None of the TVs had functioning cable and were tricky to get to work at all. The hot tub was in need of cleaning and the fire places did not function. If you just need a place that will sleep lots of people, then this is an option and the beds were comfortable.

Hello, A three-star review is somewhat misleading and rather low considering that the projector did function. We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you encountered with the projector. While we do provide step-by-step instructions for guests, we acknowledge that it may require a certain level of technical proficiency to operate. Unfortunately, projectors require external sound systems as they are incapable of producing sound independently. So there is nothing we can do to set it up in a way you can turn it on with a single remote. Regarding the hot tub, it was initially serviced and balanced on the day you checked in as acknowledged by your messages. It ended up dirty after your arrival due to children bringing in mud from the playground. This situation is beyond our control, as the hot tub was fully serviced and balanced upon check-in. This is not the type of lasting impression we want to leave with guests. I truly apologize you feel this way as you can see from majority of our reviews we make sure our guests are taken care off. We appreciate you mentioning the cleanliness as we do take that very seriously. All in all we will do better going forward but even more clear instructions to our older guests in terms of how to use the projector. Thanks again for staying with us Lisa!

BEDBUGS - STAY AWAY.Our group was very excited for the space from the pictures, which looked great and fit our needs exactly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness had not been kept up. The kitchen was infested with dozens and dozens of flies that descended onto our food as we cooked and set out serving dishes to feed our large group. We found rat droppings in the back stairs. The hot tub had a scum ring around the edge from improper cleaning, and several of those who spent time in it developed a rash.And, worst of all, one of our group found a bed bug on his sheets on the third night of our stay, and sure enough several of us developed extremely itchy bed bug bites once we got home.When contacted about a refund due to cleanliness issues, the host was initially responsive but went dark when asked about a refund or proof that the issue had been addressed.
