Sehr nette kleine Ferienwohnung mit Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer. Der Strand liegt quasi direkt davor (durch den Garten, über die Straße, die Treppe runter); Restos und Cafés sind ausreichend vorhanden (direkt nebenan), gute Bäckerei und kleine Supermärkte ebenfalls vor Ort. Stefan ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, auch jederzeit für Fragen zu erreichen! Wir haben uns super erholt und kommen gerne irgendwann nochmal wieder! Kalo Nero ist leider nicht sehr gut an die Öffis angebunden (die Bahnstrecke wurde ca. 2012 stillgelegt). Es fahren zwar Busse (sowohl nach Kalamata als auch nach Kyparissia, und wohl auch in Richtung Pyrgos und Patras); allerdings ist es nicht ganz einfach, die Abfahrtszeiten zu eruieren. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt mit Ausflügen empfiehlt sich daher ein (Miet-) Auto.

Die Vermieter sind eine deutsch-griechische Familie und sehr sympathisch. Allen Anfragen wie Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Wohnungsbelange werden gleich erledigt. Auch örtliche Fragen für Neuankömminge wie Sehenswürdigkeiten, Touren und Einkaufen werden gerne beantwortet. Die Nähe zum Meer ist einzigartig. Der Hausname Caretta spricht für seine Besonderheit, vielleicht kommen wir wieder, wenn die Schildkröten schlüpfen !

Super Erholung

Wir waren begeistert von der schönen Unterkunft direkt am Meer und der Gastfreundschaft der Inhaber. Sehr gepflegtes Gelände mit Grill und Garten , viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Toller eigener Strandabschnitt! Auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

Ansich sehr schöne Unterkunft, man kann von dort aus vieles unternehmen, auch das Meer ist direkt vor der Tür, nur die bellenden Hunde in der Nacht haben gestört.
