We had a wonderful time staying at this clean, convenient house. The location was perfect as we have a UNCW student 1 mile away. The backyard was a plus since it was fenced for our small dog. The house was clean and both the bathrooms were updated. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was a big bonus!

Great location if your plans are to go to the beach, only 4 miles away! Quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is small and so is the downstairs bathroom. The living room can seat 7, one of the reasons we chose this location. We had 5 adults and an infant, so the kitchen, bath and dining areas can get cramped. Everything worked as expected and the host was very responsive to any questions we had. It is starting to show some age/use with the walls & furniture, but nothing that would keep us from booking again.

5 senior adults enjoyed staying here. The description and pictures are exact and the host and hostess are very communicative. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers with seats. This is wonderful for the elderly, parents with kids, shaving your legs, etc. This house is so nicely located to the beach, shopping and restaurants and 20 minutes to downtown Wilmington. It really has everything you need and would highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to the Wilmington area.

Pros: house was clean, back yard was nice for our dogs, location was great. Communication was good due to issues from previous guest. Cons: house was hot. Master bedroom and upstairs had no circulation. Desk was in the listing but there was a tv on it making it hard to work remote the time I was there. Internet was spotty. Lots of interruptions mostly understandable due to issues from previous guest but mowers also came out without us being told and we were lucky our dogs didn’t escape. Also half the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work.

As you know our house guests that came before your visit hosted an unauthorized party that caused some house damage that required two brief visits for repairs and insurance related inspections. You were very gracious allowing us these two brief visits during your stay, and we appreciated your flexibility. During those visits, however; we were surprised to discover you brought two dogs that were not disclosed on your reservation. While we normally require prior approval and charge a pet fee, we chose to not mention anything and waive the pet fee as appreciation for your flexibility. If you check your VRBO email, you will find, we did send an email heads-up and advance notice our landscaper would be mowing the lawn which typically takes only a half hour or less. ALL downstairs outlets do function properly but sometimes will need a simple GFI reset if overloaded. Yes, the master bedroom can become warm during hot summer months and why fans are provided. There are 4 throughout the house that can be moved to any room at anytime. Overall, you were fine guests, and we did appreciate your flexibility. Just simply wish you had disclosed, upfront you were bringing two dogs.

Perfect!

Location is great - close to anything and everything. Neighborhood was quiet. The house is large and was extremely well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, and unexpected extras such as books and puzzles. Christine quickly responded to my questions. We had a wonderful week.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time, the enclosed backyard was perfect for our kids to run around and have fun without worrying about them wandering off. Everything was very clean and it was a beautiful little home! Would definitely stay again!

At first, we wished it was closer to the beach, but once we discovered how convenient our home is to all the best shopping in Wilmington and the historic downtown, and how cozy it is, we knew this was the place we wanted.
