Bright and airy home in the heart of Carolina Beach with lovely outdoor areas for play, relaxation and socializing! This spacious newer home is everything you imagine a beach house to be. Large, wide covered porch has table and chairs for casual dining and entertaining as well as conversation seating. The enclosed back yard has a private pool and hot tub plus large patio area with table, chairs and a flat grassy area for enjoyment. The parking and outdoor space this house offers is extraordinary!

Minimal steps from street level to the first floor and porch make it convenient and functional for young families and multi-generational gatherings. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor.

Open dining/ living/ kitchen and 2 bedrooms on ground floor; loft area/game room and 4 bedrooms on 2nd floor. All bedrooms have attached private bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, beverage cooler, pantry, and island. Inside dining for 12 (dining table and island bar seating).

The house is about 5-10 minute walk to the beach, with very close paid parking available if you'd rather not walk. Located on a quiet residential street it is an easy walk to most everything Carolina Beach offers.

When you are ready to explore, The Black Pearl is an easy stroll to downtown Carolina Beach and the board walk (less than 2 blocks). Carolina Beach offers restaurants, shopping, carnival rides, well known Britt's Donuts during the summer season and a vibrant night life. Fort Fisher, the Aquarium, the ferry to Southport, the State Park and Cape Fear river are all a short drive, when you are ready to explore further. The gazebo has live music and bingo in the summer months. Fishing charter boats, nightly party cruises, pontoon boats and paddle boards are available. Carolina Beach offers a greenway trail, family parks that include pickle ball court, skate park, basketball court and green space.

Within a 20 minute drive to downtown Wilmington and Front Street, museums, and more to see and do!

No Smoking and No Pets, please. Parking accommodates 5 vehicles; do not park on the grass, please. A 3 day minimum stay is required in off season; 7 day (Sunday to Sunday) stay mid June - mid August. Weekly discount except during high season. Greatly reduced monthly discount during off season! Inquire for details!

We enjoyed our stay at the Black Peal for the second year in a row. The decor is very beachy and refreshing. The kitchen is well stocked and the has plenty of room for our family. The hostess is nice and very quick to respond with any issues that may arise. We will definitely stay again. See ya next year

Everything you need!

This house was just so amazing! Having the pool and hot tub was so convenient for the kids. We had a minor issue with the pool and it was quickly addressed and we were back to swimming in no time. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone and so much space to not feel cramped. The walk to the beach is not bad, just a few blocks and so convenient to the board walk fun! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic House within walking distance to all of CB!

We had a fantastic long term stay at this property over the holidays. Beautiful property, and very centrally located with walk able restaurants, small businesses and of course the beach. Great host communication and property was very clean and well kept.

Great house

The house was great with plenty of rooms. The cookware in the kitchen was top quality. House was located within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Best part of the house was the large wrap around porch. We will stay here again next year for sure.

My family came in for my daughter’s graduation. The house was large enough to offer plenty of space for all of us to come and go and to have our meals together. We enjoyed time by the pool, walking to local restaurants and to the beach in between our commitments. The house was one of the cleanest we have stayed in!

Great location can walk to anything.

Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient and could walk to restaurants, the beach, boardwalk, amusement parks etc. The pool was very nice as well. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the furniture and mattresses. They are very outdated but served their purpose. Would stay again.

Family stay for a wedding

The house was clean and very cute! Big enough for multiple families to stay together while traveling for a wedding. Neighborhood was very nice- the next door neighbors were very kind to the kids! Owners were quick to respond and allowed us in early and helped respond to mistaken packages left at the address. Would definitely Recommend.

family girls trip

our 1st official girls trip was great, and the house was the begin of that great time. We were completely impressed with the house and the all of the accommodations it offer. the pool was perfect for a lazy day of relaxing, dancing and all we needed to enjoy each other. I, we will use again and we will refer to other family and friends whenever they come to Wilmington area in the future. 5 Stars from us

Gem of a find

Our family of eight and 2 very small children had a fantastic stay at this home. The house itself was plenty large and had everything we needed. The pool was a bonus especially with the heat at the beach. Easily accessible to restaurants. Having a bathroom with each bedroom was a definite plus! We rented golf carts and there was parking and charging for those and well as our four vehicles. The property owners were accessible for any questions. Worth the stay!! Only be prepared to pay for parking for beach accessibility to Carolina Beach itself.

Very spacious house and good location

House was very spacious and clean. Just the kitchen inside the drawers could have been a little bit cleaner. Service could be a little bit better: Bed sheets were not already put onto the bed, we had to do that. No beach towels. No shower gel. All in all yet great for family with kids / friends. Would come back.

Spread out and relax!

Wow! What a wonderful week we had in Carolina Beach and largely because of this property! We were a group of 6 adult scuba divers (and 2 spouses). The host was appropriately responsive from the initial booking, prior to our arrival, and during the time we we there. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen, which seemed to be a gathering point, had plenty of seating and plenty of room for everyone to move around. The same can be said about the deck and pool where we spent most of our time. The neighborhood was also pleasantly quiet but well within walking distance to many great restaurants and places to cool off. The pool itself is small-ish but is great for a couple people to float in and lots of room around the edges for sitting. The saline/bromine system is definitely a plus as well. It was mostly clean when we arrived but we had no problem removing the few leaves/sand that did exist. The pool person and hottub person both showed up once during our stay to maintain them according to schedule. We had one small issue with an appliance during our stay. My message to the host was responded to promptly and the issue was resolved within 24 hours. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and we don't take this kind of responsiveness lightly. A good host and a good property equal a great stay! A+++ for Kathleen and The Black Pearl!

Loved our vacation at Carolina Beach. The house was perfect for our needs. Very spacious and each bedroom has it's own bathroom which is a huge plus. We spent lot's of time outside on the large wrap around porch and the pool. It's a short walk to the beach and there are lots of walkable shops and restaurants. We rarely used our car the whole time we were there. Very well appointed.. lot's of beach chairs for everyone (but do bring your own beach towels) and the kitchen has absolutely everything you would need. The owner went above and beyond for us too. I accidentally left something behind and she had it mailed to our house in Ohio! Very pleased with the whole Carolina Beach experience! Would definitely stay here again
