It was an amazing stay, the host was very accommodating and responsive. The house is big and spacious. The views of the lake were great, u can swim in the lake! Absolutely enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend!
We are a nature loving crew so this worked for us. Lots of birds and love the water views. Loved the large dining table we could all sit together and enjoy our meals.
This property is super cute and peaceful! If we hadn't been away so much for our daughter's competition we'd have spent a lot of time on the porch just relaxing. The view of the lake is beautiful. Getting suitcases up the narrow staircase was an adventure but we got it done. If we make it back we will be sure to rent some kayaks to take out on the water.
We had such a wonderful time here relaxing over the last few days - it was exactly what we wanted! The photos do not do this place justice; it has lots of space inside and outside to hang out and unwind whether you’re having a meal outside on the deck or in the dining room or vegging out on the couches. Next time we will stay longer!!
Overall, it was a nice place. Dishwasher needed repairs, ceiling fans were dirty, couldn't find control for a/c temps.
Location is beautiful! Enjoyed the lake views a great deal. Beds were very comfy.
This house is in a truly beautiful setting, right on the water. But be aware of its limitations. Chief is that the bedrooms are all upstairs, and the only way up there is via a steep, narrow metal spiral staircase. So the place isn't suitable if you have elderly people or very young children. And be aware that the people in the 3 bedrooms will have to share one bathroom. Another concern for elderly people is that the floor changes levels in various places, creating a trip hazard. This place was originally a small stone cottage that has been remodeled and expanded. This the electrical system is jury rigged, with outlets in odd places and missing where you would expect them.
The photos of this house don't do it any justice. It is a beautiful property tucked away on the water. Our only concern was the narrow spiral staircase for a couple of our family members but other than that everything was great! Wish we were able to stay more than just one night.
