We love the location right on the river. Best part was sitting out under the covered patio, while dining or just relaxing, and watching the river and wildlife. Location is about an hour away from the south end of Crater Lake. There was an excellent grocery store just 10 minutes away as well. A very private location. I would highly recommend.

Overall, this place is mesmerizing and completely decompressing. We really enjoyed our time mostly in the backyard and driving the country roads to places like Clayton and Alexandria Bay. We went to Tibbetts point where there’s a lighthouse. We enjoy going to Bella‘s for breakfast or lunch. They have a beautiful state park just before Alexandria Bay. I would highly recommend. Rick is also a great host and is accessible.

Did not want to leave!

Clean, well decorated, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and dishes for our family. A beautiful location next to the Rogue River. We felt like a valued guest here and wish we could have stayed longer! Many properties do not deserve 5 stars, this one does.

Beautiful home and location!

The home was perfect! We had a family I’d of four adults and we fit comfortably. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook a hot meal. The home is nestled on the lake and we enjoyed our morning coffee listening to the beautiful birds! This is definitely a place we will stay at if we are ever in the area again!

River Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay. If I had known the place was a manufactured home I might not have rented it...since there were no pictures of the outside of the house I sort of thought it might be a manufactured home...it turned out to be very nice. We very much enjoyed the covered patio and the view of the river. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were comfortable.

Yearly trip to Oregon

We loved the property. Was comfortable for 4 adults and a 2-year old. Love the location on the river. The only thing we didn't like is that the burners on the stove do not sit flush so you really had to watch the pans from sliding. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again.

Just what we needed…

We had a wedding at the Rogue River Lodge this weekend and wanted somewhere close to the venue. I don’t think you can get any closer than this home. It was a beautiful stay. The home was clean and homey. We loved the throw back kitchen. The view of the river was amazing. Definitely recommend to stay here.

Great time on the Rogue River

Enjoyed our time sitting on the patio listening to the water rush by and watching the birds in the trees. We took a day trip over to Crater Lake and stopped at a few of the trails on the drive up there. Will definitely hire a raft next time we’re in the area to float down the river. Place was clean and the beds were comfortable. Thanks

Lovely and quiet

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing adventure. It's about 1 hour away from the Crater Lake Lodge and an easy drive. The house is clean and comfortable. The outdoor area by the river is covered so you can enjoy even when it's raining. Our only critique was that there was only one kitchen towel for use. I would suggest a few more for guests that like to cook and do not want to waste paper towels.

Seriously every aspect of this VRBO was perfect! The hosts were soo kind and accommodating, the location… (I mean it doesn’t get better) with the closeness to Crater Lake and the national forests, the adorable small town of Shady Cove, the decor and vintage appliances; I could go on and on.. we are from Alabama and we will be back to stay at this House!! Exceeded expectations!

Beautiful patio on river with beautiful wall made from a rock collection. Great showers and bath products! And two very excellent restaurants in town very close, Miguel’s Mexican Cuisine and Mac’s Diner.

Close to Crater Lake Ntl. Park & Airport

Airline company changed our departure flight ( from California to Oregon) & we needed a new place to stay near our departure airport. This home was reasonably priced, clean, near our departure airport & loved the very cute interior decorating. Our bed was super comfortable too! River was strong so did not enter to wade or swim. We only stayed less than 24 hours here but appreciated the location and availability.
