Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review! We're delighted you enjoyed the private upstairs retreat and found it super clean, cozy, and comfortable. We love offering guests a peaceful residential setting with a private entrance, deck, and fenced yard, while still being just a short drive to both Historic Savannah and Tybee Island. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we'd be happy to welcome you both back anytime! Shawn

Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so glad you, the girls and your pup enjoyed your stay. That large, fully enclosed front yard tends to be a favorite for our four-legged guests, it gives them a little freedom while keeping things safe and relaxed. It means a lot to hear that the communication and comfort stood out. I really do try to think of all the little details so guests can settle in easily and feel at home from the moment they arrive. Being just about 15 minutes to historic downtown Savannah and the Tybee beaches makes it easy to enjoy both the quiet of the island and everything the area has to offer. You were wonderful guests, and you’re always welcome back anytime! Thank you! Shawn

I, along with my partner and our two tiny Chihuahuas, stayed at Shawn's property over the 4th of July weekend. The property was exactly as described, and I'm not sure I've ever stayed in such an immaculate property. It was more than clean; it was pristine. The check-in process was seamless, and communication was absolutely perfect. The kitchen is extremely well-appointed and included some very nice surprises that allowed us to save a trip to the store for our immediate needs. Most importantly, I greatly appreciate the pet-friendly accommodation. I take my little guys everywhere, and to be able to work with a fellow dog lover was wonderful. I hope to stay again!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was a pleasure hosting you, your partner, and your two adorable Chihuahuas over the holiday weekend. I'm so happy you found Wilmington Island Retreat to be so clean and comfortable. I take great pride in creating a space that feels welcoming from the moment guests arrive, so your kind words truly mean a lot. I'm also glad the fully equipped kitchen, with some extras helped you settle in without having to make an immediate trip to the store. As a dog lover myself, I know how special it is to travel with our four-legged family members. That's why I'm always happy to welcome well-behaved pups so everyone can enjoy a relaxing getaway together. Thank you again for choosing Wilmington Island Retreat. You are welcome back anytime, whether you're exploring Historic Savannah, spending the day at Tybee Beach, or simply relaxing on the private deck. I look forward to having you all back. Thank you!
