This home is a little jewel with a beautiful fenced in back yard which you and your furry friends will love. Perfect for a weekend getaway, a full vacation, an opportunity to meet with family, to attend a graduation, or to visit your favorite Marine. Cozy Scamozzi is located in a quiet, suburban tract but close to everything including grocery stores, restaurants and retail. Nearby is New Bern, a quaint, riverside town with many shops and the original Pepsi Cola soda fountain. You will be a short drive to The Neuse and Trent Rivers and only 45 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean so there are plenty of opportunities for water sports. Also, there are miles of beautiful hiking trails nearby. We will consider long term renters and will make every effort to support military families. Come let us host you and your family.

Adrienne and I hope you enjoyed your stay at Cozy Scamozzi. Please leave the linens and comforters on the beds but it is helpful if you gather the used towels and leave them in the bathroom.
Please leave the trash and recyclables in their barrels in the kitchen. The recyclables should NOT be in a trash bag.
Please do not handwash dishes. Simply load what you have used in the dishwasher. It is helpful if you start it on regular wash. There are DW pods under the sink.
This house is in a working class, residential area. Outdoor noise must be curtailed by 11:00 p.m.
We have set high standards for cleanliness and want you to have a great experience but you need to treat the property like it was your mom's house.

Excellent stay in New Bern

The house is very clean, modern and handicap accessible which we needed. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and all towels and linens were provided. Quiet neighborhood, fenced back yard and an easy drive to the Chrystal Coast. Owner very quick to respond to 2 questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location and a great house.

We really enjoyed our stay here. House is very clean. Very organized. The kitchen is really nice. I enjoyed cooking here. Has a beautiful backyard, great location near a lot of stores and restaurants.

Very clean and very nice property owner

My husband and I along with our two dogs needed some place to stay while our home was being renovated. The house is very well maintained and clean. The house is set up with almost everything you would have in your own home. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. We felt very comfortable and at home while we were staying here. The owners are very sweet and quick to respond if you need anything. We would definitely recommend staying here

Clean/comfortable home

We stayed at this VRBO when we were in town for our sister's funeral and to help pack up her beloved New Bern home. It was a clean, comfortable, relaxing place to go after the long, emotional days. Communication with the host was fantastic, the location was a nice, quiet neighborhood and the home was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this host/home if you are looking for a place to stay in beautiful New Bern, NC. Even though our sister is gone, we plan on returning to visit in the future and seeing more of what this area has to offer.

Delightful and Very Welcoming

This house is as cute as it looks. Host left much appreciated snacks and fresh flowers. House is very sweet and exactly what we needed to escape wedding kaos! Plenty of room. Large garage. Fenced back yard if you bring your pet. Nice table on patio and swing in the yard. Can't say enough nice things. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Little family vacation

We toured Historical New Bern. Only had one problem. When we arrived and it was taken care of immediately. 5 stars all around for us. Out dogs enjoyed the back yard.

Wish the place was equipped with trashbags, paper towels and other minor amenities that other vrbo's we've stayed at in the past have but over all, it was a good time. Spacious. Intimate. Convenient and quiet. We had a great family time.

Cozy at Scamozzi

The house was comfortable. However, we did not have tvs in the bedrooms, except for the one that was in the closet on the floor. The main one in the living room allowed some information/programming that all of our family could watch together. No wastebaskets in the rooms; some spider webs were visible, the kitchen well-stocked except for a Keurig coffee maker. We didn't remember to take our own.All in all, we enjoyed our stay and it was well within the range of miles it took to get to events, food, supplies,etc. that we used. Thanks so much for the opportunity to enjoy New Bern, NC.

Cozy comfortable, PERFECTLY clean, luxurious bedding, host who responds immediately, to-die-for kitchen, very peaceful neighborhood and a great little yard with a beautiful bit of woods behind filled with songbirds: what's not to love? We are grateful to have been able to visit and already looking forward to returning in the fall.

Suburban Style Plus

If you want to experience how most of working middle-class America lives, this is the place for you. It's in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Very convenient to all support stores, groceries, dry cleaning, restaurants, etc. It is not resort living. There's no pool. No beach. No tennis courts. But it is very clean and very comfortable.

The kitchen is set up for people who like to cook and was equipped by a professional chef. The beds are really nice with new mattresses and box springs. But the biggest treat is the fenced-in backyard that abuts the nature preserve so you can sit back and enjoy a calm, quiet space.
