We enjoyed our stay! The place is nicely decorated, well equipped, and very clean. It's a great layout for a vacation house. It has a large screened porch with views of the Neuse River and New Bern. Getting in and out of the property via Rte 17 is very easy.
The house and location was great. It was very quiet and super clean. We loved sitting in the backyard on the water. The host messaged throughout our stay to check in which was appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.
The perfect weekend retreat!
We enjoyed the spacious screened porch and dock with views of the river. The home is beautiful & spotless with modern touches, a stocked coffee bar and comfortable spaces for everyone to gather. The host was quick to communicate and shared helpful tips about the property. Bridgeton is convenient to shopping, historic New Bern and nearby summer camps. We hope to stay again soon!
The property is the rare property where the pictures don't oversell it, they under sell it. Everything was amazing, the communication with the host was excellent, always quick to answer any questions. They're probably really quick to address any issues, but I'm just guessing, because we didn't have any. The dock is actually closer than it appears in the photo, and the sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. I started my 1st morning on the screened in porch sipping my coffee, but I spent every day after that sitting on the dock sipping coffee every morning. Very peaceful location. New Bern is just a few minutes drive across the river, and you also have a lovely view of it from the dock/porches. The place was very clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
