Great Vacation House at the OBX!

Perfect house for our weekend stay! The location was amazing and we had everything we needed. The communication with the rental company was also very great. I would highly recommend this house and rental group!

Family Time is the Best

So happy this property is well prepared for the needs of the entire group. The kitchen is amazing with double appliances. Plenty of space for everyone and beautiful views of the ocean.

20th Annual OBX Family Vacay!

Our 4 generation family stayed in Hatteras for 18 years at the same rental vacation home every year. After the passing of my grandmother, we decided it was time to change locations and restart our tradition in a different home. We tried a different home last year and it wasn’t the “it” home for our family. This year we tried the Turtles Nest and the family loved its location and features. To see my family of 17 be so happy again, it was an easy yes to this being our new spot. What also sealed the deal for me was the customer service. They were responsive and our requests were addressed promptly! We have booked for next year and look forward to making many more memories with our annual family vacation in this house!!

Great location

The house was perfect in size. But, needs some updates and cleaning ..needs a new outdoor grill, it looked terrible and had to clean and rig it for it to work. Refrigerator's were missing most of the door shelves and the stove tops had an awful smell, my husband tried cleaning the filters in the dishwasher and scrapped some mold from the filter area. The rest of the house was pretty much clean We lost internet in the house, for a couple days and had trouble resetting the modems for the Theater area. We used our personal hotspots most of the week. Despite everything, we had a great week.

A great place to stay

some of the towels packets were wet why weren't all the beds made (bunk beds). you need to supply more garbage bins. You had only one in the kitchen and it was small requiring many trips to the dumpester. there was only at one container. there should have been one at each end. the drawer for the garbage had two spots but only one container. otherwise my family enjoyed our stay. the AC was a problem but it was solved after calls

I am glad that we were able to resolve the AC issue and we did find the second trash can in the laundry room and have returned it to it's place. We are also purchasing another trash can for the laundry area. We will be reaching out to our linen company in regards to the towels. We're glad that despite these inconveniences, your family enjoyed the stay. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
