We have a recently updated 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhome in the beautiful Gulf Highlands Resort. The beach house offers 1 king master suite and dull size bunk beds with a twin sleeper in bedroom 2. There is a also a full size sleeper sofa downstairs that can handle any family’s need. The community offers 11 pools, shuffleboard, miniature golf, tennis courts, workout facilities and other amenities. This townhome is a short 5-10 minute walk to the white sandy beaches of Panama City Beach with a direct private beach access through Pier 39. The Gulf Highlands clubhouse offers an on-site restaurant, bar, and beach side pool for resort guests. Furry friends are always welcomed! Snowbirds Welcomed! Host had absolutely everything needed! Beach towels galore, beach chairs and even a wagon to take everything to the beach! Host was super friendly and responded to any questions I had within a couple of minutes. Highly recommend!!

Great beach property!

This property was a half a mile from the beach and had all the amenities we needed! The full kitchen was great for family meals and the back porch led directly to the pool. The property manager was very responsive and friendly!

Relaxation in Tropical PARADISE

We cannot say ENOUGH POSITIVE about the Owners and their HOSPITALITY, AND the location and amenities at this Townhouse!! It was a short walk to the pristine white sandy beaches that Panama City Beach offers! The resort that this town home is located in is a gated community, which gives travelers peace of mind with their safety and security. The resort has 11 pools, five of which are heated for any cool weather. We enjoyed the tennis courts, putt putt course, and even shuffleboard! This was a perfectly relaxing family vacation, and we will DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK to stay The owners are truly a GEM!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Week-long stay for baseball tournament.

We stayed here for a week due to my son having a baseball tournament in town. The "check-in" process was super simple and was communicated to us before we arrived. Everything that we needed was provided in the unit. During the week, Cory messaged us to make sure everything was going well. Very communicative and responsive whenever we messaged back and forth. The walk to the beach isn't that far. We weren't there long enough each day to be able to "relax," as we were pretty much on-the-go the whole time, but we would be able to relax there if we had the chance. Would definitely stay here again if we come back!!

Air conditioner was not cooling. No lights in the main bathroom. Texted owner. We had a guy there until 9:00 that night working. Shower in that bathroom had mold on the mat. Filthy baseboards. Sheets had stains on them. Found wadded up sheets in the closet. Smelled musty. Still put on the bed. We put beach towels on top of them to sleep. (No sleep) Headboard was broken so if you moved it hit the wall. Filth around baseboard very bad in corner of bedroom behind door. Baseboards should be replaced. Pedestal sink in other bathroom was about to fall. Downstairs was dirty in general. Washer and dryer were outside in a locked room and it was filthy. Wet rugs were in the washer. This filth had been there a while. Owner texted me that he was sending a new cleaner the next morning. A guy also came and took headboard outside and got the headboard from another room. So we had a miserable night and had to leave for cleaner to come the next morning. I have texts showing that the owner would compensate us. I have texts that you meds to see. Really need to speak with someone on the phone. We got back after grandson’s ballgame and packed up and left. See photos. The owner told me after he saw pics the new cleaner sent that all was good. I would never pay money to stay in that filth.

So, this lady has blown a minor situation completely out of proportion. She obviously is not use to VRBO style living and needs to spend her money at a 5 star or better hotel that costs $500 plus a night. The place wasn’t filthy but it was not up to the standard that I set for my business. As owners, we are at the mercy of our cleaners and this one failed me. After this guest made me aware of the issues , I immediately started getting trades in to fix the problems. The electrical was fixed, shortly after they arrived from dinner, not 9:00 pm. The HVAC was found to have no issues and even by her own admittance, it was cooler in the place. They stayed the night and I had a new cleaner re-clean the entire place throughly once they left for their daily activities and baseball games.. Also had my handyman go in and fix the issues that she made me aware of regarding the bed and sink. Everything was fixed prior to her coming back from her outing that day. She wasn’t forced to leave, she picked the time that they were going to be gone and that’s when I sent people in. When they arrived back, everything was fixed and re-cleaned. By her own admittance the place was clean but there was a spot on the baseboard behind the door that was discolored. She was also upset that the sheets, although clean, were wrinkled. I advised her that all the linens and towels were new. She then left, but not before they took showers, used the kitchen, bathroom facilities and towels in the residence. There was sand and dirt everywhere after she left causing me to have to have the place re-cleaned for the next guests. I don’t think anyone would do that in a totally filthy house, they would’ve just left or never have come back after their daily activities. After she used the place, she then wanted to leave and now wants a full refund.. Host beware of this scammer. She needs to spend her money in 5 star hotels! I’m not upset, but I’m perplexed! I’ve never had anything but 5 star ratings for my place and then this. I pride myself in keeping a nice, clean, cost effective location near the beach for guests to enjoy. I would not rent to this person again! Hosts Beware!
