This newer, light-filled home is nestled in a peaceful, semi-wooded setting right in the heart of Mount Desert Island. You’ll be just minutes from Southwest Harbor, the lakes and trails of Acadia’s Quiet Side, and only about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor. It’s a great spot to unwind after a day of hiking, swimming, or exploring the island.

First Floor:
Spacious entryway with a dramatic staircase. Queen bedroom with access to a shared full bath (walk-in shower). Comfortable living room with wooded views opens to the dining area with seating for 10–12. The kitchen is open and inviting, featuring an additional sitting/TV area, as well as a small table for four. French doors lead out to the deck. The Laundry room and garage entry are just off the kitchen.

Second Floor:
Primary bedroom with King bed and spa-style en suite bath with whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. Three additional bedrooms (two Queens and one with a set of Twins) share a full hall bath with shower. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and heat pumps, providing cool air in the summer.

Outside & Extras

Sunny deck, gentle brook behind the house, and a nice yard for safe play. Two-car garage available for storing bikes or kayaks.

Bar Harbor & Acadia

Home was exactly as advertised. Large rooms, well appointed kitchen and plenty of space for everyone. Great location close to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Excellent Location & very peaceful

This property is in a great location if you want to visit Arcadia or Bar Harbor! Very comfortable, fantastic deck and kitchen - great for a family retreat. We saw dear near the property which is smack in the middle of nature but only several minutes away from town.

Good overall

The property itself was great. The checking-in process was easy once we figured out the keypad was on the side of the house. The main issue was the A/C in the master bedroom. It didn't work in the master bedroom. The first few days were OK because the weather was cool but the last three days were unbearable. The other issue is the smell and dog hair in the living room. My family didn't wear shoes in the whole house and constantly can see dog hairs on the bottom of the slippers or socks. We can also smell dogs on the couch in the living room. We were told to check in at 4pm and out by 10 am so that they can do a deep clean. I would expect that was the same thing before we checked in. So, it was surprising to experience that. Otherwise, the property is in a great location to get to Bar Harbor or Acadia National Park. We were also very pleased with the space we can have (9 of us) during our stay.

We had a wonderful Fall weekend in this beautiful home. There was plenty of space, great appliances (kitchen, laundry), it was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic - close to both Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. We will definitely be back.
