It was a pleasure to work with Angela in planning our trip to CopperTop. The communication was quick and precise. She answered all of our questions before arrival. The house is spectacular! Everything from the setting, decor, appliances, cleanliness, bedding,etc was superb. The kitchen was the best well-stocked kitchen we have ever had with a rental. Angela’s love and care for this house is felt in all of the details. The location was perfect for our group of 6, just far enough out of town but close enough to all the conveniences and restaurants of Bar Harbor.

An incredibly beautiful house, perfect for our big group for Thanksgiving. We couldn’t believe how thoughtfully the house was laid out and how well stocked the kitchen was with everything we’d need for a long week of cooking. A very easy and comfortable stay. The views from the house were stunning and Angela made sure to check in to see if we had everything we needed. It could not have been a better place to spend Thanksgiving with family and we would absolutely come back here next time.

Fantastic rental

Wonderful house in a great setting; The owner, architect and builder all did a great job on this newer house. Every design detail well thought out - location, floor plan, materials, furnishings etc. Very comfortable house.

Beautiful home Mount Desert Island

Gorgeous home with great location and amazing views of Somes Sound. From the large back deck, we saw a seal hanging out on the nearby rocks! We stayed for a week with our 2 adult kids and a few of their friends. Good location for exploring Acadia and Mount Desert Island. This rental is about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor.

Great location and incredible house

A beautifully designed home with incredible deck, and the fireplace is the best. The outdoor shower is also a very nice bonus. I rented a kayak and while that was a tad intimidating to navigate, once you figure it out it's easy to get out.

Wonderful house, wonderful site, wonderful week!

We (8 adults) found it very hard to leave this tranquil spot, so we consoled ourselves by booking another week next year. The house is beautifully constructed and decorated and so comfortable. The owner quickly responded to questions about the tvs and sonos sound system, and it was a delight to work with her. We loved everything about our week and can't wait to go back.

Lovely in every season.

After enjoying two weeks at Coppertop this summer, we returned for Thanksgiving. The house is as lovely and comfortable in the fall/winter as it is in the summer. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets, the beautiful late autumn light over the water, and the wonderful fireplace. Highly recommended for any season!

MDI stunning property

Ideally located family home on MDI. Architect’s dream house with stunning views of the cove throughout. The use of wood, granite and glass make this property almost invisible as it blends in perfectly with the natural environment.

Old friends reunite

The property is spectacular in every way. Gorgeous chefs kitchen and we cooked quite a bit. Perfectly located close to hiking in the park and for exploring; its also short walk to Abel’s fantastic lobster pound. Angela is a superb host in every way and was so helpful before arriving and when we were in Maine.

Great location, beautiful home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coppertop. Aside from the home itself being absolutely gorgeous, well-appointed and in a stunning setting, we were far enough from Bar Harbor to be away from typical tourist crowds yet close enough to enjoy restaurants and other attractions. We enjoyed exploring the “quiet side” with less trafficked hiking trails, hidden treasures and waterfront views. We will be back!

Wonderful Stay

The house was beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. It was thoughtfully designed, immaculate and very well maintained. The layout was just perfect for a family of 6 adults and a toddler. The house was centrally located - literally 15 min from Bar Harbor and all the major attractions / hikes. Angela was great - very responsive. We will definitely return and make this our home base for our next visit to Acadia.
