Cozy Home Away From Home- Condo In Waterville Valley Estates

Relax with the family at this cozy home away from home. Enjoy the great outdoors with hiking, skiing and sledding in the White Mountains of Waterville Estates. Per Waterville Estate regulation, booking guest must be at least 24 years of age.
We enjoy sharing our home with others. Please be respectful of the property and surrounding neighbors as regards to picking up trash after grilling and monitoring noise levels. Guests are also reminded to abide by the rules and regulations of the Waterville Valley Estate. Upon check-out, guests are responsible for the following:
-Closing and locking all windows and doors
-Turning all lights turned
-Refrigerator, cupboards and closets removed of all personal items.
-All trash is placed in the dumpster located outside the home.
-Thermostat lowered to 55 degrees.
-Strip all beds used of linens and place at the bottom of the steps along with used towels, rags and face cloths.
-Load and start the dishwasher
-Plug camera in the laundry room back in

Health Hazard Warning We arrived after midnight to find the water shut off, the fridge unplugged, and the entire house reeking of mildew/mold. The lower level was damp, crawling with spiders, and the air was unsafe to breathe. Most windows showed signs of leakage with visible water damage and mold stains. We left a day early for our health, asked for a refund, and were refused. This property is dangerous, should not be listed until professionally remediated, and must be avoided at all costs.

Thank you for your feedback. Per your complaint, we had the association come out and give a thorough inspection for mold and mildew as we did not see this prior to your stay. They confirmed there was no mold and mildew. As stated in our message prior to booking, we keep the water turned off to avoid bursting pipes during the winter and the refrigerator plugged out to save on energy in between bookings. We did reimburse you the cleaning fee for your inconvenience. Thank you for staying with us.

This condo was clean and welcoming. Meshel was an excellent host, responding very quickly to any questions we had. It is so close to skiing, Ice Castles and tubing! The clubhouse is close and we all enjoyed the pool. Although they didn't have any towels to rent so take a few of your own if you can. We had a great time and the condo easily slept my husband and I, our 2 kids and their kids. The only thing they could add is a blow dryer. We would definitely go back.
