This is our 3rd year in this cabin and our first year with our grand babies with us. There were 8 adults and 2 babies and the cabin fit us all easily and functioned just great. Our host is outstanding, so helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We’ll definitely be back :)
There was lots of room for 4 adults and 3 kids. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. Everything was very clean. Very good communication with the owner - they were responsive and very helpful. We had access to the dock as well as an small beach to get into the lake.
My family and I all stayed at this house. It was clean and spacious for 6 adults and 5 children. There is a room there that was great for the kids to hang out and lots of games for them to play. It’s in a beautiful location and in walking distance to the lake. The owner Kim was wonderful and very helpful with any questions or help we needed. I higher recommend this place and we will definitely be back.
The house is 100% as imaged. The house is exceptionally clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the balcony where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and game nights in the evening. The house is about a 2 minute walk from a small beach area where went spent majority of our vacation, it was the perfect little spot! I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in bass lake. Our family had an amazing experience here!
Property had everything we needed and individual AC units in each room. House was new and modern. The lake was very busy but it was nice having a boat slip to utilize. Can’t ski on the lake between 8pm and 8am. Overall the place was great and would recommend.
This home and property was the absolute perfect fit for our family and friends. The home is tastefully decorated and well stocked for all your needs. There are endless options for family fun and we enjoyed pickleball, ping pong and the fire pit. The kitchen is well stocked for those who enjoy cooking. The home is a convenient walk to the marina and dock that is easily accessible and a perfect spot for kids to swim off the end of dock. The hosts carefully thought out every detail that a renter would need while staying away from home. We loved this property so much that we will make this our annual summer vacation spot!
This place is great… tons of fun activities (ping pong, bocce, games)… kitchen is VERY well outfitted / stocked… beautiful deck overlooking the lake… and the whole place seems brand new. Would 100% recommend and would visit again.
The Muenzer’s lake house is one of the coolest properties I’ve ever rented. Not only is the location superb in beautiful Bass Lake, but the house itself is practically brand new. The design is super unique and modern with many thoughtful touches. The house is beyond well stocked AND with quality appliances, linens, and kitchenware- which is typically not the case for a rental. The other wonderful thing is the house has a number of fun games /activities to enjoy - bocce, ping pong, and corn hole. We were able to rent a boat and use the boat slip just across the street from the house. We had a fantastic time in this incredible family home and will definitely stay again!
This home is spacious, beautiful, unique and well stocked! We walked across the street to Bass Lake and we had everything we could ask for, plus more! It was a great place to enjoy a family trip plus get to Yosemite and other attractions. I’d definitely stay again.
Kim the owner was a pleasure to deal with. It was a very nice modern house with all sorts of amenities. The kitchen and laundry room is well stocked, which made cooking and cleaning easy. Good view of the lake and we really enjoyed the having a boat slip, even if you don't have a boat it is nice to go sit on the dock and watch the sunset.

About the host
Hosted by Kim Muenzer
We are a retired couple of native Californians. Kim grew up in Southern CA and Jim grew up in Northern CA. We both came to Bass Lake as children and love sharing our home with our three grown children and their families. We are a family of engineers, designers and one therapist/yogi.
Why they chose this property
We built this home with our family in mind. The home was designed by our architect son and we managed the construction ourselves. It truly is a labor of love. The long narrow garage was designed specifically to house Jim's racing shell as he has been a rower since his undergrad days at University of Santa Clara.
What makes this property unique
A desire to be able to use the cabin as we age meant we included a ramp to the front door and accessible features in the primary bed and bathroom. The dock is a short walk away, but it's also one of the few docks at Bass Lake where you can park a car if someone is not able to do the walk.
